Will the Heroes Finally Win? Feb 24, 2010
imageWell here we are again another Wednesday another day for me to make a pick. Well last week I was wrong but I was right about the Heroes losing again.
So for this week i'm purely going off of what Survivor and CBS have already given us. For one they've already given us the intro which could lead to the outcome of the episode, and they gave us a preview of the villains going at each others throats. In the preview it shows Boston Rob and Coach saying that they both can't trust Russell(which they shouldnt). And it also show us that Parvati and Jerri get into some kind of fight looking like they want to get each other out.
Also in the preview it shows a mud fighting challenge of some sort which probably will be for immunity since the fighting challenges are usually for high stakes. Eventhough in the original preview it looks like the Heroes are going to lose but I am going ot say pretty confidently that they are going to win the challenge and finally win Immunity. Now you might be curious as to why i say that i'm pretty confident right? Well it looks like the exact same type of challenge that is shown in the opening credits for Rupert and Candice. In both of their nameshots in the opening credits they both seem to be celebrating and i've never celebrated after a loss.
So with the idea that the Villains will go to tribal council I think that Boston Rob and Coach will try to gun for Russell (just purely off of the preview) and Russell will see that Jerri isnt getting along with Parvati so well and strategize with her and Russell's new Natalie, Danielle, to get rid of her. He then will convince Sandra to join in with him because she rarely cares who goes. And Jerri will go to her new BF Coach and they would vote together along with Coach's long time alliance mate Tyson.
So for this weeks prediction I will predicate:
Parvati in a 6-4 vote
Now i would like to hear your idea. If you read the spoilers please DO NOT put them in the comments.

Heroes v.s Villains Episode 2 "It's getting the best of me" Feb 19, 2010
imageWow what an episode last night on Survivor. I will go out on a limb and say that that was one of the craziest episodes in the history of survivor. From injurys, to a tough challenge, to hard strategic decisions and a feud at tribal council.
Last night on Survivor Stephanie Lagrossa from Palau and Guatemala got voted off in a 6-3 vote. I have seen pretty much every Survivor episode and i have never seen an argument at tribal council like what happened last night. But for this recap we'll start at the begining of the episode since there was a whole lot of stuff to talk about.
For starters i am begining to feel a little bit bad for Boston Rob that he is always on the stupid tribe that cant get anything done around camp. So to cool himself off he goes for a walk in the jungle where he passed out on the ground. Immediately Jerri sees that he has fallen and comes to his rescue to where he tell her to get help. She does and the next shot is Jeff Probst coming with medical it turns out that he was fine and luckily for our sake and his that he was able to remain in the game.
Now to the Immunity Challenge(strange that there was no reward challenge) where i thought the Heroes were going to pull something out  especially since Rob wasnt going to be his greatest. This challenge went back to season 18 where the tribes had to get big blocks with letters on it and bring them back to their station where after they got all their pieces they then had to spell out their tribe name. Once again the Heroes were near perfect in the physical portion of the challenge. The part that I think every fan at once winced was where Parvati took this large hit to the head while rolling the blocks. Once all the pieces were back and the heroes had the lead i thought that they had it in the bag but Boston Rob being the puzzle master that he is led his tribe to victory again after the heroes crumbled and argue with each other. I was embarassed for them and especially for James who yelled at Stephanie who was getting in the way of the challenge and was not listening to JT's instructions of how to do the challenge.
Then the strategy kicked into high gear(FINALLY!! that is my favorite part of Survivor)where James went around telling everyone to vote for Stephanie and for some reason kept bringing in her past seasons which has nothing to do why they are losing now. But Colby, Tom, and Stephanie then tried to sway Candice and Cirie over to vote off who they percieved to be the weakest Amanda. I do like the alliance of Cirie and Candace and can definetely see that going for a long time.
But the best part of the episode had to be tribal council when Jeff asked James who messed up the challenge for them and he responded by saying in one simple sentence "Stepahnie". After that Stepahnie then turns around and begins a huge arguement with James where then Colby and Tom help to defend her at that point it just got ugly. And if Colby and Tom weren't already on the outs(which they already were) they definetely were after this tribl council. After the votes were read and Stephanie was officially voted off with her torch being snuffed she turned around and says to the tribe but meant towards James "The next time y'all lose a challenge you shouldnt curse them out." To which James replies "Shut your mouth." Which then started a miny argument which didnt carry much steam.
As for the two outsiders,Colby and Tom, if the tribe is smart they should not be the next to go. As for James he wont be next but if they continue to lose i dont see him lasting after three more episodes.
Let me hear what you have to say about last nights episode.

What the heck happens to Boston Rob? Feb 17, 2010
imageEvery Wednesday before the new survivor episode I will anounce my picks concerning the next episode. Just to clear the room i DO NOT read the spoilers just purely because i feel that it ruins my fan experience.
Lets start my predictions talking about what the heck happens to Boston Rob. If you are any type of Survivor fan you know that at the end of the first episode they showed us the preview for the next one and the only thing they showed was Boston Rob going down. It looks pretty serious but i think that he'll be fine and wont be taken out of the game. Usually when they show you something in a preview it could be shown purely just to get you to watch next week. When someone is injured in Survivor they show the reaction of the tribe and say something corny like "and one of the villains is injured."
As for the challenges i think that the heroes tribe will probably feel desperate and go all out to win the reward challenge and will win. I think the reward will have to do something with a hidden idol and that will get Russell's brain moving. I dont think he'll find it in this episode but will start looking. I think the Heroes will win the reward  but will lose the immunity challenge. This time not being a blowout but a really close loss.
So with the heroes going to tribal council JT and James will probably see Cirie as a threat and a physical weakness and will try to vote her off.
My Prediction:
Cirie in a 8-1 vote
Now i would like to hear your idea. If you read the spoilers please DO NOT put them in the comments.

All Star romances Feb 16, 2010
imageWhen thinking of survivor in my daily thoughts I found one thing thats in common about all of the allstar seasons. There's been atleast one type of romance in everyone, including the new season Heroes v.s Villains. The common factor is the love factor. There has been somekind of budding romance on each allstar edition.
Of course the most famous one is the one from the allstars season 8 with Boston Rob and Amber. The two of them met on the show then formed an alliance on day one and never looked back. After the season ended every survivor fan knows that they got engaged and then married and went on to do the amazing race together.
The other one was from the fans v.s favorite edition, season 16 with Amanda and Ozzy forming a relationship. All though these two did not stay together after the show but while on the show made out with each other in the middle of the night.
The third one is from the newest season of survivor season 20. Even though the season is still in the honeymoon stage you can already see some type of love connection between Jerri and Coach. Whether this romance continues or not we'll have to keep watching.
I've pretty much come to the conclusion that the creators of the show must put some kind of love potion in the water canteens. :)
I would now like to hear your response....
