Heroes v.s Villains Episode 2 "It's getting the best of me"

Feb 19, 2010 by boomike
imageWow what an episode last night on Survivor. I will go out on a limb and say that that was one of the craziest episodes in the history of survivor. From injurys, to a tough challenge, to hard strategic decisions and a feud at tribal council.
Last night on Survivor Stephanie Lagrossa from Palau and Guatemala got voted off in a 6-3 vote. I have seen pretty much every Survivor episode and i have never seen an argument at tribal council like what happened last night. But for this recap we'll start at the begining of the episode since there was a whole lot of stuff to talk about.
For starters i am begining to feel a little bit bad for Boston Rob that he is always on the stupid tribe that cant get anything done around camp. So to cool himself off he goes for a walk in the jungle where he passed out on the ground. Immediately Jerri sees that he has fallen and comes to his rescue to where he tell her to get help. She does and the next shot is Jeff Probst coming with medical it turns out that he was fine and luckily for our sake and his that he was able to remain in the game.
Now to the Immunity Challenge(strange that there was no reward challenge) where i thought the Heroes were going to pull something out  especially since Rob wasnt going to be his greatest. This challenge went back to season 18 where the tribes had to get big blocks with letters on it and bring them back to their station where after they got all their pieces they then had to spell out their tribe name. Once again the Heroes were near perfect in the physical portion of the challenge. The part that I think every fan at once winced was where Parvati took this large hit to the head while rolling the blocks. Once all the pieces were back and the heroes had the lead i thought that they had it in the bag but Boston Rob being the puzzle master that he is led his tribe to victory again after the heroes crumbled and argue with each other. I was embarassed for them and especially for James who yelled at Stephanie who was getting in the way of the challenge and was not listening to JT's instructions of how to do the challenge.
Then the strategy kicked into high gear(FINALLY!! that is my favorite part of Survivor)where James went around telling everyone to vote for Stephanie and for some reason kept bringing in her past seasons which has nothing to do why they are losing now. But Colby, Tom, and Stephanie then tried to sway Candice and Cirie over to vote off who they percieved to be the weakest Amanda. I do like the alliance of Cirie and Candace and can definetely see that going for a long time.
But the best part of the episode had to be tribal council when Jeff asked James who messed up the challenge for them and he responded by saying in one simple sentence "Stepahnie". After that Stepahnie then turns around and begins a huge arguement with James where then Colby and Tom help to defend her at that point it just got ugly. And if Colby and Tom weren't already on the outs(which they already were) they definetely were after this tribl council. After the votes were read and Stephanie was officially voted off with her torch being snuffed she turned around and says to the tribe but meant towards James "The next time y'all lose a challenge you shouldnt curse them out." To which James replies "Shut your mouth." Which then started a miny argument which didnt carry much steam.
As for the two outsiders,Colby and Tom, if the tribe is smart they should not be the next to go. As for James he wont be next but if they continue to lose i dont see him lasting after three more episodes.
Let me hear what you have to say about last nights episode.
