So Race to Black may be ending soon as my friend Brendan_Jordan here has only 9 karma left until he gets 350, and I was so happy for him. THEN I remembered he and a partner both had to make it.
So...yesterday I took this California piano exam called the Certificate of Merit, and their results are SUPER FAST, so I just found out that I made the branch honors, but most importantly the STATE CONVENTION!
And the funny thing is, when my mom told me, she asked me to guess which song I would be playing. Funnily enough, the piece that I was chosen to play by my teacher (maybe because I scored the highest on it?) was actually the piece that when I had been practicing my pieces I was doing the worst on, and hadn't fully memorized it until the night before.
