I was eating at Olive Garden with my friend and her family. We were paying to leave when all of a sudden everyone in the restaurant started running! There was no time to think. We started following everyone and ran into the kitchen. The employees were confused like "why are you in here?" But people kept coming in. My friend's sister was crying and I was trying to calm her down because if there was a shooter, I didn't want them to know there were people here. Then the employees started moving huge carts and there was a secret door and we were able to get out.
Outside I saw a bunch of people with random Target carts and items. I literally think they just ran out with them. And it was scary because our party got separated and we didn't know where the other half was for a few minutes but then they found us. We were able to get into the car and leave before they put the mall on lockdown.
The shooter is still on the run though.
My body is trying not to be in panic mode but yeah.
