Hello! And Welcome back to Episode 12 of Happy Holiday Survivor!!!!
Last Episode, the Happy Holiday Survivor's loved ones made a surprise visit and assisted them in the reward challenge, leading to a victory by Santa Claus/Martians. However in a grueling endurance comp for immunity, Shattered Dreams took home a much needed immunity win. At camp Sleigh Ride attempted to boost morale with a little sing-song-along, while Shattered Dreams decided to distance themselves from their alliance of themself, Sleigh Ride, and Fievel.
In yet another chaotic tribal, which resulted in a 3-3-1 tie between Buddy and Santa Claus/Martians, in the end, thanks to the help of Shattered Dreams, Buddy was sent to Edge of Extinction.
The tribe is now at a 3-2 split, with Shattered Dreams as a free agent, will Shattered Dreams be able to rekindle their alliance with Fievel and Sleigh Ride, or will the alliance of Santa Claus/Martians, Glittery, and Bucky's Arm prevail. Let's Find Out.

Buddy arrives on the Edge of Extinction, no one is really all that surprised at first, most expected him to join them here sooner or later, especially after he reveals Shattered Dreams won immunity. They are, however, surprised by how the vote went down, and were not expecting there to be a tie. Those on Edge of Extinction also receive letters they had written before the game started.
Opening Confessionals:
Sleigh Ride: I am uncertain of what will happen in the next couple of days. If Shattered Dreams is still with Fievel and I, we have a 50-50 shot of taking out who we want. But it is unclear for me if Shattered Dreams is with us, so would it be better to take them out?
Shattered Dreams: If I am truly going to distance myself from a hard stuck alliance, I need to still make an effort to improve relationships. Even if people are in a better position than me, if we bond deeply, maybe that is enough to keep me around.

Bucky's Arm: Yes, that idol find was important. Maybe to the viewers at home it don't seem like it was, but if it truly is a 50/50 split on this team, this is how my alliance takes that majority. This idol couldn't have come into better hands.

Shattered Dreams: I picked Fievel and Glittery because 1) to rebuild relationships with them both. And 2) maybe try and make some magic happened. Spread a lie or two around.
Sleigh Ride: Shattered Dreams not picking me tells me that they are done with the alliance we had, alright fine by me. Question is do I drop them now, or later.
Fievel: Ugh finally picked for reward. I deserve this.
Glittery: Well, that little tour was nice, not sure what Shattered Dreams is trying to accomplish here, but it might be working.

Immunity Confessionals:
Glittery: Me winning is purely out of spite for Shattered Dreams, so they don't win. You know if they wanna try and form a last minute alliance, I will hear them out, but I will be damned if I let them win immunity again.
Shattered Dreams: Damage Control volume 3. Luck was not on my side with this puzzle, if worse comes to worse, I at least got a cool reward before being voted out.
Santa Claus/Martians: You know, at this stage in the game I don't feel good about getting third, I wouldn't even feel good about getting second. There is just so few people left in the game ,that those placements feel the same as last to me. Winning immunity is all that matters, but I am happy for Glittery.
Sleigh Ride: If me or Fievel won immunity there, that would have been perfect. It would have given us both some much needed wiggle room to figure out our plans at tribal, but with us both vulnerable I do have to worry and maybe take a backseat.
TRIBAL EVENTS:
Bucky's Arm has an idol.
Santa Claus/Martians, tells a story about Santa Claus conquering the Martians. Impressing the team a great deal.
The alliance of Fievel and Sleigh Ride dissolves.
A new alliance forms between Shattered Dreams and Glittery.
Event Confessionals:
Shattered Dreams: Please let this last minute alliance work... Please.
Glittery: I am hearing them out, I do understand where they are coming from, but at the same the returnee challenge is coming any minute. And what if the person who returns is like their best friend in the game. They leave me and take majority and I look stupid for trusting them. Maybe they just deserve to prove their worth on Edge of Extinction.
Santa Claus/Martians: That story is a tale as old as time.
TARGETS AND TRIBAL:
Bucky's Arm and Shattered Dreams are targeting one another: They just don't like each other.
Fievel is targeting Santa Claus/Martians: He considers them a small threat and also doesn't care for them that much.
Glittery is targeting Sleigh Ride: They don't like them. Simple as that.
At Tribal I ask a few questions:
Q: Glittery, how does it feel to win your first immunity of the season?
A: It feels great, I mean I felt like I never really had a chance with all these other people hogging it but I am glad that I was able to prove myself. And hopefully it was not just a one off situation.
Q: Shattered Dreams, I know I ask this every time, but do you feel you could be in danger tonight?
A: I feel it, I see the way they are all looking at me. Waiting to see I maybe pull out an idol or if I don't, but I fought my hardest in this game. I never gave up. Sure did I make dumb decisions and sure did I make mistakes along the way. Yes, but no one is perfect, and I truthfully think that what ever happens tonight, I can leave here happy that I played the best game I could.

Shattered Dreams: I don't really know why I voted Fievel instead of Bucky's Arm which is who I wanted to go home there. I guess I wanted the best chance of staying and knew there was no way one of Glittery's closest allies was going so I needed to improvise, adapt, and try to overcome. But I am very proud of my performance and how pressed I made everyone feel. But this was only my eighth life, my ninth one don't end until I either lose Edge of Extinction or return and get voted out again.
Sleigh Ride: Ultimately I felt it made sense for my game to just take a backseat and go with majority, I do hope that whoever does return is beneficial to my game and not someone else's because it would be nice to have power again in this game, and take down those three amigos eventually.
Glittery: No matter how strong Shattered Dreams alliance pitch was, there was no way it would have been smart to keep them around. All that we can all hope is that they don't win on Edge of Extinction.

CLOSING THOUGHTS BY ME!
I first want to say sorry if this episode was messy and short. My stomach is in a lot of pain right now, so I really didn't want to sit at my computer forever, so yeah sorry if it is messy.
It is so sad to see Shattered Dreams go. Such a front runner in this competition, but I am glad to see them go now, and not make it to the finale and get screwed over. The simulation doesn't usually like people who win immunity challenges and also receive a lot of votes, which Shattered Dreams did do both of.
But I do wish them the most luck in Edge of Extinction, which we will find out who wins that return competition tomorrow, in Finale part 1.
I am going to try and release all parts of the finale tomorrow.
I am going to split it up with Finale parts 1 and 2 being in one episode and Finale part 3 and the Reunion being in the last episode, and then there will be a separate blog post, after Christmas detailing analytics, a spreadsheet of the voting history. and of course the simulation link in case you want to look back. It will also detail the future of this series, cause I do kind of want to continue this in a way.
