Alison and Colby stand in front of the burning church. Colby puts his lighter back into his pocket.
Alison:How did you know it would burn?
Colby:It hasn't rained for days, the wood was going to be really dry...
Alison nods
Alison:Let's get out of here, they are going to see it soon..
Colby hurries through the brush and Alison quickly follows. They escape just in time as Father Jimenez approaches the Church from the back. He falls to his knees and he yells out as he watches it burn.
Father Jimenez:NO!!!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?
He pounds the ground with his fist over and over again until eventually his knuckles start to bleed, but he pays his hand no attention, he just keeps beating the ground in anger.

A large boat appears in Taylor's view and she recognizes it as a Coast Guard ship. She waves her arms again and she notices a light shining on her. Excitedly she jumps up and down
Taylor:Yes! Thank god I am saved!

Savanna looks up at the sky and she sighs.
Savanna:I need to calm down...
She sits down on the sand and she crosses her legs. She gets into a meditative state and she closes her eyes. She takes a few deep breaths as she tries to ease her mind from the past couple of hours. She hears footsteps approaching and she sighs.
Savanna:Do what you want, I don't care anymore..
Jean stands behind her with the rifle in hand.
Jean:Savanna? What happened?
Savanna shakes her head.
Savanna:Don't worry about it, just leave me alone...
Jean shuffles awkwardly before looking over and seeing Taewong's body. A few days ago he would have flipped out but now he is just used to seeing death.
Jean:How did it happen?
Savanna:I killed him...
Jean takes a step back.
Jean:What do you mean? You did this to him?
Savanna walks up to Jean and although he gets nervous he doesn't point his rifle at her. She pulls him in for a hug and he pats her back awkwardly as she lets her emotions out.
Savanna:I should've done more..
Jean:It's alright...
Savanna shakes her head
Savanna:No it's not. How do I live with myself?
Jean:We need to get off of this island, and we need to make sure they can never do this again...
Savanna nods and she retreats from the hug before wiping her eyes.
Savanna:I'm sorry, I am not weak I just...
Jean nods
Jean:I have to go find Imani and apologize.
Savanna looks at him curiously
Savanna:Just tell her
Jean's cheeks turn red for a moment.
Jean:Tell her what?
Savanna:After we get off of this Island, tell her how you feel about her. After we're all gone...
Jean reaches for his chest, forgetting that his camera is gone.
Jean:What are you going to do?
Savanna turns to the ocean
Savanna:Taylor and Mike left on a boat. I want to wait here in case they come back
Jean frowns, not sure if her plan will work but not wanting to call her out on it either. His frown quickly turns to a smile and he nods to her before leaving to find Imani.

Taylor gets helped aboard by one of the crew members. The man looks at Mike's body questionably and Taylor sighs.
Taylor:We had been out here for days. He said he wanted it rather than starve to death..
The man looks at Taylor accusingly but he just sighs.
Man:Well don't worry about it. I'm sorry you had to go through that.
Taylor nods before suddenly remembering her friends.
Taylor:We need to help my friends!
The ships' horn sounds again and the ship starts to take off. The man nods
Man:What happened?
Taylor:My friends are dying. We had to get away on the boat but there are still people there..
Man:Do you know where it was?
Taylor:Abbiens Isle?
The man nods and another man walks up to Taylor and he wraps a towel around here.
The first man smiles
Man:My name is Joseph by the way, but you can call me Joe..Usually we wouldn't take accusations seriously but we found you in the middle of nowhere.
He walks towards the bridge of the ship and Taylor watches the water.
Taylor:Please hurry...

Imani walks along the trail. She is hugging herself while she walks, knowing that any moment she could be dead. She trips over an overgrown branch and she yells out as she feels a crack in her leg. She drags herself off the trail and its not soon after that she sees Father Jimenez standing where she fell. He turns to face her and he starts walking towards her. Imani watches with fearful eyes as he pulls out a hunting knife.
She backs up against a tree and a flash of hope rushes through her when she sees the Man in the Tiki Mask walk up behind him. He has a thick strand of rope and he wraps it around the Father's neck before yanking him back. Imani does her best to crawl away, not wanting to stick around for the aftermath. As she is crawling, she is bewildered by the silence around her. She stops to look back just for a moment and she hears it. She hears 4 bullets ring through the air and a few seconds later Father Jimenez walks through the brush. Imani cries out for the only person she thinks can help her.
Imani:JEAN! JEAN HELP!
Tears start rolling down her cheeks and she becomes a mess as she realizes her fate. She hears him call out for her in the distance.
Jean:IMANI!
Father Jimenez shakes his head and he stabs Imani in the gut. He looks her in the eyes as he watches her gasp.
Father Jimenez:He isn't going to save you....
Father Jimenez pulls the blade out of Imani's abdomen and she falls to her side, just in time for Jean to come out through the brush with his rifle. The Man in the Tiki Mask comes up next to Jean and he takes his mask off. He holds the bloody fishhook in his hand and Father Jimenez starts to back up. Alison and Colby appear behind him, crossing their arms as they watch him panic. Father Jimenez pulls out his pistol once more
Father Jimenez:You don't want to do this! You don't want to upset the God!
Alison's glare intensifies as she locks her eyes on him.
Alison:It's too late, I am already pissed!

Questions:
1. The only real constructive criticism I could think to give you is don't have so many characters, because it makes it way harder to grow close to them. But I know that's not really possible with blog stories. Regardless, you're doing an amazing job. I really can't wait for the finale (though I'm also kinda terrified to see how it'll conclude).
2. My favorite moments are Jean and Imani's first scene on the ship, and Taewong and Taylor's whole relationship prior to Alex's death. Those scenes seemed so real and genuine, and they really made me care a ton for those characters.
3. Taewong's pointless death tbh. And Mike died anyway so it kinda feels like there was no escaping his fate, even if he took Mike's place on the boat). So much lost potential for his character imo.
4. I'd have to go Jean, Taewong, and Taylor ofc for the above reasons (though Jean trying to kill the kid seemed way out of character to me (though I mean I've never been hunted down by a bunch of creeps in the woods so I don't really have the right to criticize him :p)). katherinee makes some good points about Colby too. He's super interesting, and his arc after his last scene with Savannah kinda flew over my head.
5. Not including the island people, I guess I'd say Savannah for letting Taewong die. Also the characters I don't even really remember, like Cody, Amy and Ethan.
6. Taewong, ofc. And Imani, probably. Stab to the gut doesn't look good, even if that ship happens to make it to the island before she dies. Too much internal bleeding. Idk how she'll make it. So sad thoughhh she was so close! If jean hadn't tried to shoot a kid and gotten mad at her for not letting him, she probably would've made it! :(
7. Rhetorical question! You know I am! Really hoping my 14 year old character is a bomb ass vigilante warrior! :p

Least Favorite Moment? Probably the boat with mike dying. I would have liked to have seen more of a fight between the two honeslty.
