Motorbike accident.

imageSo, I drive a Yamaha Mio 125cc automatic motorbike...  And one of my friends wants to get one.  Today I took her to the Yamaha dealership and she picked one out, and said that she'd come back on Monday to pay for it.

When we were almost at her house, I said to her, "Okay, I'm gonna let you practice on my bike a bit..."  I showed her where the brakes and everything was, and gave her some tips... and off she went.  I watched her go down the road (a back-road that didn't have many cars) then she stopped.  I yelled, "Turn around and come back!"  She waited for a car to pass and then did a not-so-smooth U-turn, almost running into the curb on the way across.  She came back up the road towards me, and I told her, "It's okay, you just need more practice..."  She said she was gonna turn around and try it again.  She made the turn, but I was nervous as I noticed that she was forgetting to let go of the throttle when putting on the brakes.  I told her to let go of the throttle, then put on the brakes when she wants to stop or slow down.

At this point she was facing me (I was on the sidewalk).  All of a sudden she shot forward and the bike went up over the curb and ran into me!!  I reached out quickly and grabbed the brake.

I told her to practice a lot close to her house before going out on the main road once she gets her bike...

But I'm really scared for her; maybe she should just keep using public transportation...
