I expect a lot of negs for this, but let me speak my peace. If you are a liberal, you claim to stand for free expression of thought so to silence and attack me would be against your ideology.
I understand that Trump can be an asshole sometimes. I understand he isn't the greatest with his words and tweets, and that he doesn't act presidential at times.
However, this is not a beauty pageant. This election means everything for the future of the US so my vote is based upon what the person has done, not how a person talks and how a person may have behaved when he was a private citizen.
There is no argument that Trump has boosted the US economy. We all ain't stupid...the pandemic changed everything. The economy is bouncing back now.
Peace in the Middle East is coming, finally! Many presidents before (including those who I supported like GW Bush) have tried to no avail. Trump is a big reason why this has happened.
When I vote for President, I treat it like going to a buffet. If a restaurant is serving 20 dishes, 12 of which I love and 8 of which I don't, I will still go there. I don't love everything about Trump, but to me, there is no other option. Biden is corrupt and will be a puppet for the extreme radical left.
I'm hoping that this post will lead to an intelligent mature discussion, but I am also a realist. Tengaged is full of liberals and Trump haters.
But like.. why are you supporting the economy which will be fine under Biden, over the countless minority groups he had attacked and had their rights threatened.
Do you support him packing the Supreme Court when the Republican party condemned that during the Obama administration, even though it was months prior to the election and he is doing it while the election is in progress? It is just so hypocritical and you pick and choose what is important to you specifically, not to the greater good, and I encourage you to open your eyes to that a little bit.
Oh also Biden is definitely not a puppet for the radical left... nor is the left in this country radical at all. You could argue that in places like Europe the radical left has an influential presence, but here their main goals are climate policy and universal health care. That's not radical and nearly every other developed country has those things.
"Packing the supreme court" is not a thing. He has appointed three Justices to the Court, all within his constitutional right to do so. Biden would actually pack the Court by adding additional Justices, something that hasn't been done in over 150 years.
Where has he said he would pack the court? Thats literally a republican talking point to distract from the fact they appointed and confirmed someone DURING AN ELECTION. Meaning the justice, if Biden wins, will not be in the will of the people at all. Meanwhile Republicans wouldn't even appoint someone during a mere election YEAR. gbpackxlvchamps
You can't just say he would do that if he himself never once said it. Plus court packing would never be approved of, even by most democrats. (Although I am not even against it. The constitution has barely changed and I think there should be more turnover in Justices. Imo there should be term limits for justices like everybody else's at the bare minimum. The lifelong terms just impede any change.)
I pray that Joe and Kamala pack the court. It is truly deplorable how quickly Trump pushed his own personal agenda in getting that hateful racist homophobic religious freak Amy Coney Barrett into the Supreme Court.
