Just went and saw Les Miz with some of my friends ( Chips47Inika888DarkChocolateDelight) Must say, it was pretty amazing. I had just finished reading the book and has also just seen the play. I was happily surprised that it was able to follow both of them well. The acting and singing was phenomenal (although some of the songs were out of order. GRRRRR....). I think I might have developed a crush on Anne Hathaway (but not when she's had all of her hair cut off and teeth pulled out... gross). I would probably give it 8.5 stars out of 10. By the way, did any of y'all know that the actor who played the Bishop in the beginning of the movie was the original Jean Valjean from the London play almost 30 years ago. o___O
Anyway.... did anyone else she the Saturday Night Live skit of Les Miz when Anne Hathaway was hosting? They whole cast did a parody of One Day More, and I thought it was pretty funny. I would post it, but I can't find it online anywhere (sigh...). Anyway, would totally recomend listening to it and watching the movie if you get a chance.
I think that this picture sums up the movie pretty well. It says, " A guy steals a loaf of bread, and shit goes down.
