It’s not usually a good thing when the best part of a song is its instrumental. The instrumental is pretty great, though.
15: What Love Is - Uku Suviste (6/10)
It’s an okay song, but that’s all it is. He was just so good last year that even though this song is also pretty strong, it’s a huge letdown.
14: Out in Space - SHIRA (6/10)
CONTROVERSIAL OPINIONS AHEAD!
Yes, it’s a good song, and honestly I can see it winning this pretty easily. It creates a very nice, almost ethereal feeling, but it just kind of feels like it drags. I’m left sleepy, which isn’t really the vibe I’m looking for.
13: Unistustes - Mariliis Jogeva (6.5/10)
It’s in a very strong semi, and I just see it getting lost in all the other great songs in semi 2.
Honestly, these three deserved so much better than this song. Their harmonies are flawless, but the song completely tanks them. The lyrics are dull and repetitive to the point of ruining the whole thing for me.
19: Break Me - Laura (4/10)
Now we’re getting to the point where I truly enjoy every song and would be content with any of them making the final, but someone had to get 19th, and unfortunately, for me it’s Laura. I wouldn’t mind seeing this song do well at all, but compared to Verona, this song just doesn’t hold up very well.
18: Ping Pong - Jennifer Cohen (5/10)
I can’t help but respect it for being different from what we normally see, but it’s just not something that I personally enjoy listening to.
17: Kirjutan Romani - Revals (5/10)
Like Leelo, it’s pretty easy to listen to, and I actually enjoy it quite a bit more, but it just seems like the kind of song to get lost between all the other songs, despite being placed in the much weaker semi-final.
What is there to say about this mess? Eesti Laul, for whatever reason, always has one song that has absolutely no chance of making it out of its semi-final, and it seems like this year Viinerid is our unlucky winner. There’s just not much to really enjoy about it.
23: Lean on Me - Ziggy Wild (0.5/10)
I’m sure that there are plenty of people out there who love this song, and honestly I think this song has a real chance at making the final because of how different it is, but it’s just not my type of music. Not much else to say, I just don’t enjoy it.
22: Leelo - Kruuv (0.5/10)
It’s easy to listen to, it’s light-hearted, but that’s it. It’s amazing how it can take 6 people 3 minutes to do absolutely nothing of importance.

Overall, after the first season, this was a bit of a disappointment. Every person landed in the bottom at least once, and while I do think the overall strongest queen out of the final 3 won, there are a couple queens that I think could have done much better had they not had one bad week.
Belle was overall a very strong queen, and I think she was objectively the strongest queen on the season, but the two lipsyncs do hurt her overall score, and the final two was a pretty close toss-up between her and Miracle.
We had two front-runners eliminated far too soon, with Opal and Cheddar going out extremely early in 8th and 10th place, with Cheddar even winning two challenges in that time and earning herself the second-highest DOB score of any queen, despite not even reaching the halfway point of the season.
Overall, rather disappointing, and while I agree with the winner, there are other queens whose potential was not fully realized.
