What is the deal with clothing.

imageMany of you people shop at Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch....and you expect everyone else to also. Just the mere thought of buying something from Wal-mart makes you feel like a loser. Those people who don't dress like you...they're different, weird, losers, they don't deserve your time. Can someone please explain to me why they will pay sixty bucks for a shirt that is so thin that it will rip in a month? or why they will pay 100 for a pair of jeans that you can buy exactly the same w/o the fancy brand name for 20. I just dont understand why clothes cant be just a thing not something that defines you. Right now i am wearing a 19$ pair of jeans and a shirt that i got for free at a local concert. Why shouldn't this be accepted. why do i have to dress like a prep to sit at their lunch table? isnn't my personality enough?
