(Present) Maria, Alec, Steven, Kimmy and Julie continue along the road, a small herd of zombies are on the road but Maria, Alec and Steven take car of them quickly, Kimmy hears more noises coming from the woods and gets ready to shoot, but Melissa and Eli step out from the woods, Melissa and Eli tell them that it is dangerous for them to be out on the road and that the hostiles could be anywhere, Maria tells them that they are fine out here and “we haven't had the safety behind the walls like you guys have” Melissa tells them that they are gonna take them all back to the 'Safe Haven' but Maria is refusing to take orders from her, Melissa throws a punch on Maria and they begin fighting each other, Eli and Alec try to get the two of them off each other but they won't stop, suddenly the sound of gunfire is heard, and Maria is pushed off Melissa by the bullet, she is hit in the shoulder, up on the hill Anthony and Lee are talking and say “we found the hostiles” the other group return with Scott, he goes to tell Alberto and Stacy about the people who have his brother, Alberto tells him “it sounds like the same group who keep attacking us, but don't worry I'm sure you're brother is safe” Alberto sees Jill and Annie heading but to their room, he watches them and Stacy asks “what's wrong?”, Alberto brushes it off as nothing, they kiss and Cassie is watching them again, she gets Oscar to go on watch and relieve Doug who she takes back to her room again, Maria is ok and the rest of the group is being shot at as well, Kimmy grabs Julie and Melissa tells them to follow her, Alec picks up Maria and they run.
(Flashback) Kimmy and Julie are sitting in the back of their car, both of them don't want to go to their new school, Sonja tells them that now that Dylan is back they needed a fresh start somewhere else, Kimmy gets out angrily and blames her father for having to move, she accidentally bumps into a guy (her boyfriend from the previous flashback), Julie still hasn't got out of the car, Dylan gets her out and tells her that she is the perfect innocent little girl and that everybody is gonna love her, just like he does, Julie hugs her parents and then they drive away.
(Present) Melissa keeps the group together, Julie is starting to fall behind but Eli picks her up telling Kimmy to stay in front of him (so she is out of the sight of the hostiles) Melissa sees a school up ahead and tells everybody to get inside, the group continues running to get inside, as they do Eli puts Julie own on the ground in front of him, when a bullet comes through the door and the back of Eli's head, his body drops onto Julie who screams, Melissa and Kimmy grab Eli off her and get her further inside the building, outside, Lee says that he thinks he got one of them, Thomas comes up behind them and tells them that “we are gonna find them”, back at the Base, Taylor is a little upset over Zakhai's rejection, as he doesn't want to start a relationship with her until she has had more time to grieve over the loss of her child and Zane, he tries to cheer her up but fails, Taylor tells him she needs some air and heads outside where she sees Greg walking past, she asks if Greg had any family, “I had a daughter, my wife died a few months after she was born so it was just me and her for a while, when the dead starting walking, she was grabbed, I couldn't do anything to save her, other than put her down after she had turned, I was just walking through the city killing all of them, I wanted to die too, then I heard Zakhai inside a building and I saved him, but I still wasn't in a good place, I couldn't stay with him because I was broken” Taylor tells him that she is sorry for his loss and explains what happened to her, he hugs her and tells her “you'll never forget them, but you'll learn to live with it.
(Flashback) Julie is walking down the corridor, she is scared of her new school, she gets pushed over by somebody while walking but a young boy from her class helps her up, she thanks him and they have lunch together, Kimmy comes over and asks her what happened (seeing a small graze on her arm) but she tells her she is fine.
(Present) Melissa and Maria get into a argument over who's fault it was for them getting shot at “If you had just listened to me then we would have been off that road and they wouldn't have found us” Melissa says, Maria argues “you hit me first, it was your fault that we were still on that road” Steven tells them that they need to move to a room so they can get a look at their positions, as they are walking down the corridors Kimmy and Julie realise that it is their school that they are in, Julie looks into a room as they pass it and she sees her friend that helped her up, as a zombie stuck under a table, they continue along until they find a room to watch from. Doug comes back to the wall to sit on watch again, he believes that staying here, the community, the hostiles, he doesn't want a part of it and is considering heading up the coast, like Paul wanted, Anthony asks Thomas what the plan is, “we keep one alive, and kill the rest, that way we can do a trade”, Taylor heads back to Zakhai and tells him about Greg, Zakhai is worried about his group and hopes that Oscar is a good person like Mark and Katy believe, Daniel overhears them and tells them that Oscar cannot be trusted. At the school the group continue arguing about what to do, Julie takes a gun from Maria's bag and heads back to her friend, she sees him stuck and tells him that she is sorry and that she will miss him, she pulls the trigger and kills him, Melissa, Maria and Kimmy run down to find her while Alec and Steven stay on watch, Alec looks out the window and sees the hostiles, the people from his squad, Anthony and Lee, he turns white when he sees Thomas and realises he is alive.
(Flashback) Kimmy and Julie get home from their first day, Kimmy is now more excited now that she has met a boy but Julie is still upset over being pushed, Kimmy finally gets her to explain what happened and Kimmy hugs her, she tells her that she'll protect her no matter what, they head downstairs and have dinner with Dylan and Sonja.
(Present) Maria, Melissa and Kimmy find Julie, she tells them she needed to kill one, Kimmy hugs her and tells her she will protect her, they turn around and see more zombie children, cutting off their path to Alec and Steven, Melissa, Maria, Kimmy and Julie are forced to run, Alec and Steven see the zombie children, Steven starts to freak out, remembering his child he had to kill when he came home, Alec grabs him and tells him “we need to leave and find the others” Alberto goes to see Mark and Katy and asks them about Jill and Annie and how long they have been with their group, they explain that other than Mini's group and Scott they were the newest people, Oscar asks Alberto why he is questioning them and Alberto tells him he has a gut feeling about them, something is not right, Oscar tells them his gut tells him that they are good people, Zakhai and Taylor ask Daniel why Oscar can't be trusted “Oscar is my brother, me and my father searched for him for so long but couldn't find him, one day he showed up and we were so happy to have found him, but the leader of his community had been changing him, making him somebody I couldn't recognise” Daniel explains “he murdered my father, that's when I realised what kind of people the 'Safe Haven' are, so I left, and Greg found me and took me in”.
Melissa, Maria, Kimmy and Julie escape the school, Thomas, Anthony and Lee start shooting at them, they run into the woods but Maria is falling behind because of her wound, Maria tells Melissa to get the girls back to the 'Safe Haven' and to protect them, Melissa doesn't want to leave her behind, Maria tells her she is just gonna slow them down, Melissa tells her that she will stay behind instead but Maria tells her she doesn't remember where it is, she screams at Melissa to go, Melissa picks up Julie and tells Kimmy to run, Maria turns around to face off against Anthony, Lee and Thomas, she manages to shoot Thomas in the arm before she runs out of ammo, she shouts out to them that she is surrendering, Thomas knocks her out and they bound her hands, Zakhai watches Greg and Taylor talking, they hug again, Zakhai is regretting rejecting Taylor, he asks her what is going on between them but she tells him that she is just friends, Greg goes to Thomas who has Maria with her head covered, Greg says he will take her, Greg throws her into a room and locks the door, Maria hears a noise inside it, and asks who is there, the bag is taken off and a man introduces himself as Sean, he asks if she is the one they want.

Who's fault do you think it was that the Base members found them, Melissa or Maria? Do you think it's a good thing that Julie has started killing? Do you believe Daniel's story about what happened to him father? How do you think Alec is gonna handle his former crew being alive? Even though Greg has Scott's people, does that mean Alberto is a good person? And who is the person they are after.
It's both their fault, Melissa can be less bossy and Maria needs to stop having this superiority complex with everyone. As for Julie's killing we will have to see if she goes loco or not, I think it's a good thing though. I do actually believe Daniel moreso than Oscar. Alec's probably going to have a meltdown at some point that will likely end in his life ending. I think Greg's group is good, and I think Alberto is potentially (though unlikely) a good person as well. I think there are people in both groups pulling strings to keep the groups at odds with each other.
