A Man and a Woman enter a very busy casino, it is their honeymoon, they head down to the roulette table, they play for a while and end up winning big, they kiss as a celebration and the guy goes to the bar to get drinks, as he stands waiting to get them, he looks over at his wife, he loves her a lot, he grabs their drinks and heads over to the table, as he does a gust of wind throws him to the ground as the Phantom flies past him, he hears his wife scream, he gets to his feet and runs over to her, she was pushed down as well but she is ok, they get up and see that all the chips on the table, on every table, have been taken.
Krystal wakes up like any morning, she showers, gets dressed makes breakfast and heads out for her morning run, she passes by her neighbour and says a friendly hello as usual, when she arrives home she grabs some juice and turns the TV on, some add for the new Mrs Muscle exerciser machine is playing before she changes the channel to the news, she sees a report “The Royale Phantom Strikes Again” the news reporter talks about a strange wave of air streaming through the third Casino this month stealing chips, cash and even some jewellery, Krystal hears a knock at her door, she opens it and tells Daniel that he could have just come in and that he doesn't have to knock, Daniel tells her that he is just being polite, he asks her to come out to dinner with him tonight, she agrees to, he tells her he has to head off to work and she does the same, she heads into her study and unrolls her pages, she is an architect.
Krystal meets Daniel at the restaurant, she really loves him but something is holding Daniel back, she asks him to move in with her but he tells her he isn't ready for that yet, she tells him to just forget that she said anything, they hear some voices raised from the kitchen of the restaurant, before long a man comes out holding the owner at knife point, Daniel pulls out his gun, he is a cop, he tells the man that he doesn't want to do anything and that it would be best to put the knife down, the man reluctantly agrees, Daniel is gonna stay at the restaurant to give his statement and hand him over to the other police officers, Krystal tells him to stop by later.
Krystal waits at home for Daniel, she makes herself a coffee and sits down trying to figure out why Daniel is still so distant from her, she hears the door open and is glad to see that Daniel is finally letting himself in, he heads to the front door when her she turns white from fear as her friendly neighbour lunges at her with a knife, she runs towards the living room where she throws her mug at him while continuing to flee, she runs to the kitchen where she finds herself cornered, she manages to slip past him she makes a run for the front door but gets cut off again, he lures her to the stairs and she is forced to run up, finding herself locked in her bathroom she tries to call Daniel but he isn't picking up, her neighbour gets to the top of the stairs, he takes a long slow walk down the hallway before kicking down the bathroom door, Krystal with no other option is forced to fight back, she punches him and he gets lunged back to the hallway with a great force, he gets to his feet and runs at her, she kicks him and he goes flying down the hall and out the second floor window on the other end.
Krystal looks down out the window, shocked about what she has done and scared about how she did it, she goes to call Daniel but hangs up, scared as to what he might think of her, she heads out the front door and Daniel is standing there, he asks her why she called and hung up on him, she explains she was attacked by her neighbour but lies and says that she accidentally pushed him and he fell through the window, she leads him around back and to her surprise her neighbour is nowhere to be found, just a pile of glass and some blood. Daniel comforts her and they go back to his place for the night.
The next day he heads off to work and tells her if he sees anything about her neighbour then he will let her know, while he is gone she begins to search online for others who have gain an ability like herself, the world has known of these people for a few years now but there is still no knowing how or why people receive them. After staring at the screen for hours she finally gives it a rest, she feels lost, and cannot comprehend how to tell people about it, she sits back down and looks out the window, she sees a young guy standing across the road from her, staring at her, she picks up her phone to call Daniel but when she looks back up he is gone, she calms herself before turning around and seeing the young guy in front of her.
She asks who he is and why he is here, he hands her a newspaper reading the attack on her from the night before, the guy tells her that he looked at the crime scene and that there is no way she is telling the truth, he tells her he knows that she has a power and that she is to stay out of his way or else, she looks down at the paper and says “you're the Royale Phantom” he tells her “yes I am, and I'll never be caught like you” and with a blink of the eye he is gone.
Krystal thinks about what he has said, she then hears sirens outside her window and Daniel pulls up, she leaves the house to embrace him but he tells her to turn around, they have found evidence against what she said happened at the crime scene, and that her neighbour has been found in a garbage can nearby, his head ripped from his body. She is under arrest for murder. From a car nearby the young boy sits with a woman “you didn't have to do that Kat” he tells her, “she wasn't gonna be a problem”. “Can never be to sure Mikey, the Order recruit more of them everyday”.
Alex is running through the streets as fast as he can, he pushes through people and accidental spills his coffee on himself, but he can't stop he has to keep going or he'll miss his train, he runs down the stairs to get to the subway, he knocks a woman to the ground and stops to help her up but as soon as she does he continues to run, he can see it in front of him but the doors close on him, he is gonna be late to work again.
Alex finally arrives at work, he is interning at a big multi-billion dollar company, his boss yells at him for once again being late, Alex heads into the bathroom to clean the coffee off himself, he stares at himself in the mirror and tells himself to keep cool and just keep smiling and pretending that nothing is wrong, Alex heads back out to see he friend James who asks him to cover for him and work back on some papers while he travels to Sandshore City to take his grandmother to an eye specialist, Alex agrees to do it, James walks away calling his girlfriend telling her he got the night off. Alex says “it's gonna be a long day”
Jay Johnson is giving a press conference about the recent meta-human attacks on the city and that he will do whatever is necessary to help bring those who are abusing their gift to justice if he is elected Mayor, during his speech 3 men wearing masks walk in and being open firing on civilians standing by, the men are disarmed and arrested, Jay thanks his officers for protecting him, he tells his head of security Aaron Vasquez that he wishes to speak to these men later and find out why they attacked, Aaron doesn't think it's a good idea but Jay won't listen to him about it.
Alex continues working into the late hours of the night, when he is finally done he looks at the time and thinks to himself 'Just enough time for me to go home sleep for about 2 hours and then start all over again' he arrives at his home and has 1 new message, he listens to it and it is his girlfriend Mikkayla “hey Alex sorry I haven't been around in a few days, I've... look there is no easy way to say this but I have some things I need to work out and I don't think we can be together any more, I'm moving back home to Dawnlight City, I don't know when I'll be back, I'm sorry” Alex sits by the phone he goes numb but doesn't cry, doesn't scream, he just lies there and falls asleep.
Jay goes to the police station, he is stopped by the press out the front and he tells them that he wishes to confront the men who murdered the 3 innocent civilians at his press conference last night and that he will not be taken out of this election by a couple of 'villains', a dark figure watches on a TV before it turns off. Jay enters the station and sits down with the first man involved, the man swears he never wanted to hurt anybody and that something or someone had control over him, he says he remembers a man pulling him into a van and the next thing he knew he was leaving the van with a mask and a gun, Jay talks to the second man who gives almost the exact same story as the first, when Jay goes to see the third man, he doesn't talk, Jay tells him that he understands what has happened to them and that he will take them to safety, the third man tells him that he will never be mayor and that a true leader rises in the shadows, Jay asks about this man, if he is the one who took them, the man tells him Illuminati will rule this world and those who hide behind others will be the first to die, starting with him, the man grabs Jay, screaming and shouting Illuminati, Aaron enters the room and tells the man to let Jay go, he throws Jay to the ground and lunges towards Aaron who shoots and kills the man.
Alex wakes up, he slept through his alarm and is gonna be late to work again, when he arrives James is standing there getting praised for his hard work and dedication, Alex is angry, his boss calls him to his office, he tells Alex that this job is not working out for him and that they are letting him go, he tells him to clear out his desk and leave, Alex heads to his desk and James tells him he heard what is happening and is sorry, he promises to buy him a drink to make up for it, Alex's angry grows, he wants to punch James in the face but he keeps his cool until he reaches for the photo of Mikkayla and himself, he lost his job, his girlfriend, his best friend screwed him over, Alex finally breaks down and screams, the scream echo's through the building shattering the glass of every window, TV, computer screen within it. Everybody drops to the ground, grabbing their eyes trying to cancel it out. Alex looks at what he has done and runs.
Jay is back at his office, he thanks Aaron for saving his life again, he tells him to wait outside while he makes a phone call, Jay dials a number and a young boy answers it, Jay tells him 'The Order is dead, we need more men because whoever is lurking in my city (Illuminati is seen standing on a roof top staring out at the building Alex was in) is more powerful than anything we have seen yet'
Okey Man is seen teleporting building to building before heading out into the desert, he reaches a mine where he appears inside it, a voice tells him that he is late, he apologises for not getting there sooner, he is told that Tymeal City has lost their 'Order' and that he needs to find out what happened and get others out there, Okey tells him of two reports of people who have been spotted with new powers, a woman in Royale suspected of having super strength, the voice asks him if they are sure they are not mixing her up with Kat Kwun Do, but he assures him that it is a new player in town. The other is a young adult goes by the name of Alex Jackson, he lives in Tymeal City and shattered a whole building with the sound of his voice, and other than a few people having severe hearing problems for the rest of their lives, nobody was hurt. The voice tells him that he is to search for Alex first, he is in most danger since the 'Tymeal Order' haven't been heard from in a few days, Okey asks him if they are alive and he tells explains that they are dead, Okey asks him how he can not care that 4 of his own are dead, Fiery Sorcerer arises from the shadows and tells him 'when you have been around for as long as I have, death means nothing to me”
Okey Man disappears from the Mine, Fiery Sorcerer heads through the mine to see Rosalie, she has turned an entire part of the cave into an oasis sanctuary, 'Rosalie, are you ready for your first assignment' she looks at him, putting her finishing touches on the place as the flowers open up across the room, “I'm ready” she says.
'Where are we heading?” she asks him, he pulls out a folder and hands it to her, saying 'Adam Jamison, aka the Beautiful-Basilisk, he can transform himself into this large poisonous creature” she looks at the photographs of him “Diamond?” she asks, “yes, him being pure diamond for his skins makes it almost impossible to stop” he tells her. “I can just grow plants, how am I suppose to stop him?” she asks, “what do I always say?” he asks back “nobody's power is limited, it is only limited by ourself, to reach full potential one must believe they can blah, blah, blah” a magical orb appears next to her face, it slaps her softly, “I'm sorry it's just we have seen people who can life a whole truck over their heads, can engulf themselves in flames, can run faster than the speed of light, even turn into a giant snake but I can grow a flower, I just don't think I'm a use to anybody”. “this is what I am talking about you need to believe to succeed, and in the off chance you fail you can always grow me some more tea” he jokes.
They arrive at the Sandshore's National Park, 'I'm sorry but why would this be his lair, it's way to obvious” she says. “it is not his lair because it is obvious, it is his lair because this is where he can be himself, free” he tells her. “well then why are we here for him?, he is not hurting anybody” he turns the folder to a back page, where the reports are that the Beautiful-Basilisk has been killing hikers who enter the park and that he will sometimes enter the city at night to hunt his prey. “you can do this Rosalie” he tells her. “actually I thought of a name, Roszerade” she tells him “that is very beautiful” he tells her.
Roszerade gets out of the car, She begins walking through the woods, she sees a dying tree and brings it back to life, she then hears a scream, she begins running towards it, trying to find who it is, she hears the scream again, she grows a leaf off a tree to enlarge it enough for her to stand on, she then uses vines to help her fly through the woods quicker, she finds a man hiding inside of a fallen tree, she helps him up and tells him that she is gonna get him out, “what's your name” she asks the frightened man, “Adam, Adam Jamison” he tells her, she backs away from him “This is my home, and you are not welcome” he begins to transform, the tree he was inside being torn apart like it is nothing, the sun shines down through the trees reflecting off the skin of the Beautiful-Basilisk. He lunges at her and she begins to fly away on her leaf, dodging and weaving through the tree to escape the lunges of the snake, one wrong move and she will be dead. The Beautiful-Basilisk knocks down trees trying to hit her when she thinks about what she was told, she begins to go fast, escaping the clutches of the Beautiful-Basilisk, she reaches a point where a number of trees have been planted to help rebuild the forest, she stands on the other side of it, he lunges at her in full forces as she grows the trees from the small sticks that they are into large older trees, the Beautiful-Basilisk goes head first into the trees, he is knocked unconscious and reverts back to his human form, the Fiery Sorcerer appears beside her and tells her he is proud of her work today, he waves his arm over Adam's face and says 'he'll be out for a while, at least until we can get him into a secure location” he turns away and she asks him “why don't we kill them, I mean why lock up the dangerous ones, they have hurt more than enough innocent people”. “we are not Villains, and we do forgive, for those who refuse to change get locked away for life, only those too dangerous do we deal sever consequence with, Okey was the first one of the Villains to be given his freedom and now he is a high ranking member of The Order, plus he kept escaping which was annoying” he laughs. “I'm glad to be a part of your Order” she tells him, “who knows, one day you may get and Order of your own” he replies.
Ella is in her greenhouse, it's a bright and sunny day, she waters her plants and sits on a bench, looking up at the sun shining into the greenhouse, she opens the door to the greenhouse and outside it there is a hurricane over Dawnlight City, the rain pouring down around the greenhouse, she opens the clouds to make a shining light path through the storm back to her house, she walks through the light, rain pouring down around her, she smiles and goes inside.
“I'm literally over this rain” Lady Luck says from the next room, Commander Einstein tells her to stop complaining about it, unaware that Transgression is behind it, he looks to Nat and puts his finger over his lip telling to keep quiet about it, he continues to complain as the voice of Lady Luck, Nat sends a message to Commander's mind telling him what Jake is up to, the Commander joking makes a note that “Jake never acts like this, you need to show some more maturity Chrystyna” winking at Lady Luck as she and Goddess enter the room, Transgression (still talking as Lady Luck) says “I think Jake is the most handsome, I'm so glad he is here to keep me warm through this storm” the all silently laugh in the next room, Lady Luck walks around the corner staring at him, Transgression looks to her and say (still as Lady Luck) “oh I better stop now before he finds out how much I love him (changing back to his own voice) you talkin bout me again Lady Luck, how sweet”. “permission to kill him yet?” she says to Commander, “only when you find him taking himself as you on a date” he laughs “now get in here we have work to do”
the all stand around the table, Commander using his power to pull up files and documents about the Meta-Human they are after “Liona Janson, goes by the name Hurricane Liona, she is the one behind the storm ah 'Lady Luck' has been complaining about (Lady Luck punches Transgression in the arm) this storm is tearing up our city and we need to take her down” Nat asks “how do we find her?”. Commander explains “while her power is strong she is the eye of the storm (he pulls up the weather maps) based on this she will have to be somewhere in this 5 block radius, Nat Attack, you and Goddess start on the east side, Nat your job will be to search through the memories of the people in the area trying to see if anybody has seen her and find her last known whereabouts, then Goddess with trap her long enough for us to lock her down, Lady Luck and Transgression will start on the west, Lady Luck you will be able to block her powers with your magic you just need to get close enough, Transgression you need to become a homeless man and cause a distraction long enough to scare her out of where ever she is hiding”. “Bill the homeless man again, dam” Transgressions says. “you could always be a street walker if you would prefer” Commander says.
“I'm so not happy with this arrangement” an old homeless man says, Lady Luck talks to him through his mind saying “you didn't wanna wear a bra, also I'm gonna get back at you for earlier” Nat interrupts them and says “guys it's hard enough connecting all of you together and searching through countless peoples minds, could you lay of the flirting”. “me flirting with him, he smells funny, no offence Bill” Lady Luck says, “none taken, at least I don't smell like this all the time like others” Transgression replies, “really the Garbage King again, you ever gonna let that go?” she says “All I'm saying is you could have taken a bath before coming back”.
“Alright enough guys, Transgression do your thing” Commander tells them watching from the security camera's around the city, the homeless sees a man in a suit walking past, he stops the man to ask for some money “get lost loser” the man says, the homeless man grabs the guy in the suits arm to stop him “I said get lost you bum, get a job” the man in the suit begins punching the homeless man, people walking past see the homeless man fighting nobody as Goddess has created the man in the suit for Jake to see but nobody else. Somebody calls the police to tell them about a crazy homeless man self harming in the street, the police arrive and arrest the homeless man, “I've got something” Nat says, a woman just walked past Liona about 2 minutes ago, building across from you Goddess, she looked like she was gonna run from the sirens” Goddess and Lady Luck meet at the building, Commander tells them “third floor, she is heading to the roof, Liona runs up the stairs and is gonna use the storm winds to take her from the roof, she continues running up the stairs, desperately trying to reach the top, she looks at the sign on the next floor and it still says the third floor, she begins to freak out and tries going lower but she remains on the third floor, she stands on the stairs scared about what to do, Lady Luck comes from down the stairs while Goddess comes from the top, Lady Luck waves her hand over Liona and says “peels esor der” Liona falls to the ground asleep, the homeless man is sat on a chair in the police station, he tells the officer that he needs to take a piss, the officer leads him to the restroom and tells him to be quick, the homeless man enters and within a second another officer leaves saying “that man smells like shit” the officer pats the arresting officer on the back and heads out front where Nat is waiting in the car, the officer opens the door and Transgression enters the car. They drive back to their base when the rain begins to stop, Transgression asks Nat to make a stop a coffee place, Jake gets out the car and gets his daily coffee as usual, on his way back to the car he gives his change to Bill the homeless man (who's likeness he took) “See you tomorrow Bill” he says with a smile.
The Unknown Future.:
An unknown male looks out on what remains of Tymeal City, it has been completely destroyed, he turns back to an unknown woman who tells him that Royale and Dawnlight are the same, somehow Sandshore was untouched by it the male says "we need to stop this".
