Tengaged Fashion Week - Spring Collection Jun 5, 2009
imageThanks everyone for being so supportive of my outfits so far your support has got me here - Im in the final!! :D
For this task we have to make 4 outfits.. one for each season.
This is Spring
........................
I have tried to blend a number of styles to create something unique. ive put together the girly red and white butterfly print floaty dress with a studded biker jacket and black belt to create something fierce but feminine too. Then for accessories i added White ankle boots, a cute clutch and a hippy band with a metal butterfly on it. Ive also added black tights because spring isnt always that warm.
I hope you guys will love this and my other 3 designs (above this one on my blog list)

Tengaged Catwalk - Celebrity (Katy Perry) May 26, 2009
imageThis is my look for the kooky, eccentric singer that is Katy Perry.
After being in the bottom 2 last week, i wanted to come out strong and decide to go for a paint-meets-japan theme as Miss Perry oftens goes for big themes in her onstage outfits E.G Fruit, Carnival ride

I went for an asysemtric black jumpsuit with a huge sleeve. The sploges on the top half are meant to look like paint splatter and create a dramatic but fun effect. I added a Japanese Obi-esque belt with side-bow around the middle and made sure the trousers weren't too baggy. Accessory wise i have white, black and red heels which are fairly simple as there is so much going on in the outfit already, a little red and white bracelet and (a personal creation) a spilling bucket head creation on a red alice band. Its not a REAL bucket or paint its simply a wire designed look with little crystals embedded all over it.
I think this look is eccentric enough for Katy's big showstopping live performances whilst still being wearable.
Hopefully with this outfit i can stay in the competition and get ever closer to the final :D

Ok for the wedding dress i figured a wedding is meant to be one the happiest time in a woman's life so i figured keep it simple but sophisticated and make the bride look as beautiful as possible. I went for a simple corset top dress with billowing skirt and train. Nothing flashy just simple chic. I added the tradtional veil and a special mesh veil over half of the bride's face for some European edge. And a diamond necklace and bouquet of roses.

Tengaged Catwalk - Black & White May 18, 2009

Ok i went for something a bit retro with the black & white theme. I was originally gonna go for Avant garde but it looked a bit crap :P
Ok for this look i have teamed a thin striped one shoulder top with textured sleeve with a black waist belt (for obvious reasons) and black double studded shorts. I only done long dresses, skirts and trousers so i thought id do something a little different. For accessories i have used a matching black stone necklace and bracelet to punk up the look a little. I also added some big ole Eye wings for some drama.
Hopefully this is a more wearable outfit than my last creation :D

(P*S this is a female model, her hair is cropped but the colour is quite close to her skin tone so i added some hilights so you could see it better :D)
