It had been ages since I'd played tengaged, and I decided to make my comeback over the college holidays. Turns out I never lost my touch, if anything, I've gotten better =)
Apologies to Brittney and Bryce whom I turned on in my last game, but I felt it was the smartest move for me and my original alliance, consisting of Andy, Benner and myself! It was the best move in the game, and it put the wheels in motion to ensure myself (and my number #1 ally) and Final Three placing!
Kudos to those whom helped me throughout the game! Special mentions to Andy, Benner and Matty who helped me get so far!
The game began as 15 contestants lined up a 'Fastings' game. Almost instantaneously, I had struck up an alliance with both Smuguy2012 and TravisHay, and who knew how this game would turn out!
15th, 14th, 13th & 12th
(Otaq, Arjreen, Wowjj & SexyBar)
The first couple of nominations went by, with the obvious inactives being voted out. On the side of my alliance, I had made an agreement with Tartra that I would not vote her if she doesn't vote me. I did run into trouble, when she started to mention Smuguy's name for elimination, and lost trust in her once she disagreed with my decision to eliminate Wowjj. I continued to speak to her on the side, but I did shared minimal information with her
11th, 10th & 9th
(Stokes, Tartra & Faygo)
The biggest change in the game took place in these three rounds. I could have sworn these three were the power holders of the game, until we changed things around. Smuguy recruited Robo & Bark to the alliance, leaving both myself and Travis feeling unsettled and bottomdwelling. We played it out, voting out Stokes. The decision I like to take credit for taking control of, was the elimination of Tartra. Proudest moment, and I believe our alliance stood strong. Faygo was next to go, thanks to Smuguy.
8th Place = Smuguy2012!
BIGGEST MOVE 0F THE GAME FOR ME AND TRAVIS! Due to feeling like we were at the bottom of the five, we had to change things up. We had recruited the floaters (my key floater being Kryssy) and overthrown the game. Kudos to us for a great play, and kudos for Smuguy for being a great ally!
7th, 6th and 5th
(Robo, Lachiee and CJuddy)
Robo had to follow Smug as I had never really interacted much with him and felt he might be pissed about Smug's elimination. After that, Lachiee and CJuddy were two floaters who I didn't feel comfortable with, and felt I could trust Kryssy more than them.
4th and the FINAL 3
Travis and I discussed who could be taken to the final 3. Ultimately, Travis felt more obliged and favourable in taking Bark, due to our alliance with him throughout the game. Kryssy did help me heaps, but but I felt I owe it to the alliance and I think Travis made the right choice.
NOW ITS THE FINAL THREE, AND MAY THE BEST MAN WINN!!!
Despite the fact that he did vote me out in 6th place, he has been an ally since the beginning of the game. I trusted him the most and told him all of my moves, and whether or not he screwed me over, he played a better game then Biddy.
I finished 6th in my rookies, which I am happy about, but I knew that I was at the bottom of my alliance. It is unfortunate, but I have nothing else to say...
According to a few blogs out there from people in my Rookies group, I'm no threat because my highest placing was 5th.... huh?
Rookies is a game about making alliances with people you can trust, which I have done so, and others can't get cut because things haven't gone according to plan. I survived the first eviction 8 - 2 votes, and I'm pretty sure I know which two voted for me, so come the time that I have HoH, I'll see you two later!
I'm happy with the alliances that I've made, and I feel these people are genuine enough to help me through to the end. I've played one other rookies before, hence why my highest placing is 5th. It's called starting for the bottom and working your way up! Wake up, grow up, and get the f**k out of my rookies!
