The 24 tributes arise from their tubes on metal plates.
The arena, the tributes are placed in a green grass clearing around them cliffs of sharp and pointy stone that shadow them overhead. There is nowhere to go but up.
The cornucopia sits in the middle of the field, stashed with life saving supplies, deadly weapons and sneaky traps.
The tributes 24 plan out their strategies, scan the weapons they want, searching for their speciality.
The countdown starts 60 seconds to go.

Steven thinks: Evie and I will get the weapons, what will she grab? What is Harry’s specialty…. is Sinclair better at knife throwing than Alan?

Harry thinks: I need to get food for the pack, are there more food in backpacks bigger backpacks or smaller ones…
Antisha thinks: I’ll stay with them for the first two days. Kill the leader and break the alliance up.
