is really just a popularity contest. I have played in stars games with people who have literally done nothing all game long except to log in....change their avatar around and log back out....and they won. I am proposing a change to the stars game. I find it unfair that all of tengaged gets to vote as like i said the voting is based largely on who is liked and who isnt. My suggestion to randomize is to make it so that only the people in the game can vote. Make it more like the U.S version of B.B. Every day there should be an hoh selected purely by algo...not by activity either. They make their nominations. After they are made P.O.V is given....also purely algo. The pov decides wether or not to use it at which point if it is used hoh would renom. then the stars cast would vote to eliminate. The stars cast would also be responsible for choosing the winner.
Just a suggestion but ppl are always wanting something new on the site and i think it would make the stars game a bit more fair for the less popular users on here.
I disagree... Stars now is a numbers game... Giving hoh and pov makes it less a numbers game and more a rookies and frookies game...
I don't know how to change it but I also agree it is a popularity contest, there's got to be a way to change it but as of now it's what keeps the rest of tengaged interested in it and it keeps it the most interesting game on here
it would help if people actually knew what was going on in the freaking game, I would vote based off of gameplay but I never know what the hell is going on so I vote for who I like, if you can find a way to inform people atleast a little bit of what is happening I think that would help
also while stars is a popularity game.....fully disagree with you about it being a numbers game razorclaw13 .....frooks and rookies is nothing but a spamfest. getting hoh and pov purely by random would make it more exciting....and you are PARTLY right Zech....stars does keep players interested so maybe they could have a small percentage in the voting process
kwiens18 usually that is what nomination blogs and pollbox speeches are for but ive seen several people lie in theme to make their gameplay much better then it actually is
Adding hohs and povs would put power in certain peoples hands... It's a numbers game now because every day you have to fight to get numbers and shit... Yea the polls are popularity contest... But I join stars to play the strategy because there is NO other game like it... Putting hohs and povs will make me leave the site because the strategy changes drastically and it's not what I like

well if you look at it like that razorclaw13 .....then stars has ALWAYS been a numbers game but the fact remains the same that there are just certain people on here that can join stars.....ride it out all week long doing nothing and take the win. something needs to be done about that.
I guess I can be satisfied with my own game and I don't need a win to feel good about myself.... And I don't really care who ends up getting the win as long as I'm happy with how I play
