So, a month or so ago, a regular customer at my store was robbed in his home. They beat him to within an inch of his life, and stole most of his game consoles and games. When I found out, I had my manager call him to see if he still had his Playstation 1. When we found out he did, I bought him one of the games he had been interested in, and he came and picked it up when he was feeling better.
A couple days ago, a few of his friends came in to the store and we all got to talking. I mentioned to one of his friends that I really liked her purse and asked her where she got it. Somewhere in the process, my manager mentioned to them that I had bought the game for their friend.
Tonight I stopped into the store to check on how my scores were for the past week, and saw that the girl had brought the purse in for me with a nice little note on it. There are genuinely good people out there. Never lose Faith. < 3
