Ever since I joined Tengaged on June 15th I have been interested in and wanted to participate in the shopping game.
However, for months I have been told my experts that my dream is IMPOSSIBLE. Even if you are the best designer on the site, you will never be able to compete in the shopping game unless someone hands you a position. This is true for just one reason….Carryover.
Many people have asked me to compete to: A. Limit future carryover, B. Prevent the any carryover this week or C. to ultimately pass one of the three shop
I have several buyers interested in purchasing high ticket items, but I do not have a personal backer. I do not have one single person willing to spend their hard earned real life money on T$..... and I will never ask anyone to. Even with the ability to donate to Noel’s spectacular mission of finding a cure and ultimately eliminating Blood Cancer, this economy…. simply does not allow it.
With that being said, I would like to gauge the opinion of the people of Tengaged. Would you like to see changes in shops ?..... Do you want to see new and beautiful designs (like this one) sold at more reasonable prices each week? Do you want to see carryover eliminated or reduced… even for just one week?
I’m using this blog for two reasons…. First to hear the opinion of the masses, and second to give players an opportunity to receive a gift. I would like to hear opinions…so anyone who posts their opinion will be entered for a chance to win a gift.
There are exceptionally talented designers on this site. Help me give them a fair chance to compete.
Possibly it is now time for a change.. I think the existing shops are great,so no offense to them, but it would be nice to see something a bit different for a while... I even thought that when I was competing, I would only stay for a while, and then let someone else have a go. I would love to get a shop again for a few weeks.
Tuesday: The top 3, who've been the top 3 for weeks now issue carryover at SHOCKING prices...some for items that are awful in quality, or else items that EVERY OTHER PERSON SEEMS TO HAVE ALREADY, eg: wonderland male hair/eyes.
All days in between: the odd higher price item, but pretty much everything else is 1T...and multigifted to the shopowners friends, cuuute <3
PLEASEEEEEEE change this, tengaged & its wives are relying on you <3 your designs are stunning.
Shops need a shake up, its the same stuff all the time, I have some ts but Ive held out..Im sure others have too.
If you can take one person out then theres that change, and if not, carryover would be lower, so maybe somebody next week could? :S Im not exactly sure how that works

definitely agree. I am all for opportunity, and it is hard for many people to personalize their avatar without having a friend to gift them. There should definitely be a change as it adds a whole new aspect to Tengaged.
what I suggest is that the carryover rule should be changed a bit.I feel that either we have only 2 shops that carryover, or we have such a system:
If all three shops of the previous week are the top three again, then we take only the first two, and give the carryover to the 4th shop. but if all three are not in the top, then let the positions be as they are. This will ensure that more people get a chance to compete.
And for affordability matters, we should be able to wear our own designs, the number of designs varying on the colour level. This will help to reduce the prices, as the demand will go down
i agree 100%, we all need new, fresher designs from new designers because the shops already established pretty much carry the same kind of clothes for tons of T's someone like me can't afford! :( Give more people an opportunity! +4

It didn't change last time a triumvirate was in control, don't expect it to change now.
Last time there was HUGE drama surrounding the shops, but nothing seemed to get things to change.
The only reason it changed back then was because Ev got banned, leaving it open for someone else to sneak in.
If Tengaged really wants a change, they'd stop purchasing from a single shop, causing their sales to decline.
It has taken me forever to realize wat the shops game is all about and i do not think its fair that people who have been moving on round after round should just get a free pass at T's and the game because of some dumb carryover rule. No offense to the shop owners who do this cuz i love all of em, but i see my friends who want to compete and they design just as well as the shop owners now. The only way to have them overtake the current owners is if they post designs for 500+ T's which is outrageous. We have made changes in castings, rookies and even survivor so why not make some changes to shops as well? :)
Tbh... if you aren't even posting your own designs that you made... then idrc if u move on... cause idk why you would be interested in the shopping game so much if you don't make your own stuff??
and usually when a "new shop" goes to "help" eliminate carryover they start "posting carryover to combat the carryover and help end it" and end up becoming the exact same as all the others.

i agree, as a light green vie never had over 100 at once, those 250 T$ designs seem forever away. i think designs priced more reasonably at least in the 100's could give me some more hope :D
i think a new rule in the shops game is that carryover can be sold. but the sales don't go towards the game value, and therefore not benefiting the shop owner in any way, forcing them to sell their allotted stock throughout the week instead of just using carryover
I agree that there def needs to be a change in the way shops work on this site.
Give up and coming designers a chance, maybe with something like a shop give-away where new designers get to showcase their designs and the public choose their favourite...
I like ur designs alot. I just wish they were cheaper. but 1 thing u could do is gift people who dont have alot instead of the same people over and over and over.
I think a change is needed. I wish it was more of a market place - and if certain shops couldn't live up to the hype, they'd have to pack it up. But just putting everything at $500 to get ahead, especially to some people who are desperate for designs, defeats the purpose of a cool shops game.
I know this is sucking up, but it's more honesty than anything -- I think it's very cool that you give people without designs a chance to be gifted, and I think your designs are QUALITY.
