EPISODE 1
During the first episode, the 20 castaways were brought to Cambodia with dreams of redemption. Some were screwed by twists. Some were screwed by idols. Some were just stupid. But they all have one thing in common; they want this second chance to win the game.

“It was really exciting to be chosen for a second chance. Last time, I showed people I was ruthless by voting my mom off. This time, I want to continue showing my ruthlessness while claiming the title of sole survivor.” - Ciera

“I was the immunity hog last time. These people are going to respect me in the tribal stage and resent me in the individual stage. I’m going to win this game.” - Terry

“It’s been almost thirteen years since I’ve played this game. I really hope that I can keep up with someone of these people who have recently played the game.” - Teresa

“I am so happy that I’m playing again and on the same tribe as Hali. She is seriously my best friend and to play again with her is going to be amazing.” - Jenn

“Last time, I made the mistake of playing with my dad and not voting him off. I should have. This time, I’m going to do whatever it takes to be the last player standing.” - Kelley

“This is my island. This is my time. I’m the winner of this game.” - Troyzan

As the twenty castaways were placed at their beaches, the game began.

BLUE TRIBE
Immediately, Spencer B., Troyzan, Eddie, and Jon, the alpha males of the tribes, delegated tasks and put everyone to work, which seemed to rub many of the women and Spencer D. the wrong way.

“They think just because they are alpha males and strong, they can control this game. No. Just no.” - Spencer D.

Kelley, Sierra, and Jane, three unlikely players, agreed to stick together for the time being. Jane admitted that Kelley and Sierra were weird allies but she knew denying a chance for an alliance early on could be her downfall.

“I didn’t win last time because I sat around and waited for things to happen. Kelley and Sierra seem nice enough to work with.” - Jane

RED TRIBE
On the Red tribe, everyone decided to delegate tasks evenly and things went much smoother. Joe and Joaquin, rivals in their first season, secretly agreed to a final two pact.

“I know Jenn and Hali will be my girls when we merge, but I gotta have someone over here with me to get me there.” - Joe

“I do not trust Joe at all. But if I can use his likability to get myself further, I’m going to do it.” - Joaquin

Lindsey and Kelly, two other rivals from Worlds Apart, agreed to bury the hatchet. They knew bickering would get them no where in the game.

“I hate Kelly. With a passion. But if I come into this game with that hate, I won’t last long at all.” - Lindsey

“Lindsey is not someone I care for. But if I show that and she somehow gets numbers, my game is up.” - Kelly

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
In the first immunity challenge, things were close as the tribes had to complete an obstacle course, crawl through mud, and finally, construct the infamous puzzle. In the end, the RED tribe came out on top, forcing BLUE to the first tribal council of the season.

PRE-TRIBAL COUNCIL, BLUE TRIBE
Before tribal council, the alpha males, Spencer B., Jon, Troyzan, and Eddie agreed to vote together. They agreed that, despite being a hard worker around camp, Jane was the tribe’s weakest link.

“She’s not the most likable person, either. So this is a win-win, easy vote.” - Eddie

Meanwhile, the alliance between Kelley, Jane, and Sierra were panicking. Kelley had let Jane know she heard it was her tonight and Jane was furious. She told the girls that Jon was who she wanted to vote out because of his smug nature.

“I refuse to let my torch be the first one lit out. I’m not going down without a fight.” - Jane

Jane, fearing her game could be up, got the tribe rice and poured it all out. Kelley and Sierra, her only allies, were furious with her.

“We’re sitting here trying to convince everyone not to send Jane home and to vote out one of our stronger players, Jon, and she sits there and pours the rice out? I want her to stay for my game to be successful, but, honestly, Jane. You can’t do that!” - Sierra

Kelley and Sierra got together to discuss the votes and agreed that keeping Jane could be smart for them but also a liability.

Spencer D., Jenn, and Hali became the swing votes as the tribe trekked to tribal council. The three, realizing how powerful they could be together, agreed to form a final three pact.

“I think Jenn and Hali are a tight duo but in this game, it’s three that make it to the end. So us three sticking together could be the smartest decision I could make. I just don’t know who to vote off tonight; crazy Jane? Or strategical Jon?” - Spencer D.

“Kelley and Sierra and Jane seem like a smart trio to stick with but ultimately, we need Jon’s strength and Jane just poured all of our rice out. I don’t really know what to do but I know Jenn and I will make the right decision.” - Hali

TRIBAL COUNCIL 1, BLUE TRIBE
As the ten players marched in, the setting was tense. Jeff asked the tribe questions and it was determined that most of the tribe was turned off by Jane’s actions, Hali and Jenn were again planning to stick together, and the tribe, as a whole were getting along. Many were asked if they vote strategically or vote as a tribe in this vote. Hali admitted that voting both ways was smart, while Jon said it was too early to take out strategic threats. It was then time to vote.

As the votes were cast, Jeff grabbed the urn. “Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I’ll read the votes.”

“That’s five votes Jane, three votes Jon.”

As Jeff revealed the next vote, Jane had her bags in her hand…

“The first person voted out of Survivor: Second Chances….”

[JANE]

Jane smirked, as Hali, Spencer D., and Jenn looked away from her. Jane hugged Kelley and Sierra goodbye as she watched her torch be extinguished.
