The houseguests entered the house already taking sides. Tommy Wilder convinced Gayle Hardie to drop the HOH Competition. Tommy began a showmance with Amanda Peak, who convinced him that Gayle was a big threat. So along with Gayle Hardie, Tommy put up Debbie Smart. The Power of Veto competition was won by Donny Lee, who had flown under the radar. Tommy attempted to get Donny to keep noms the same. Donny finally gave in and kept noms the same. The entire house seemed to vote for Debbie Smart.
With the first eviction under their hand, Tommy and Amanda made a mutual alliance with Ashley Carmichael, the “stupid” girl, Eddie Haynes “the genius”, and Carl Parker, the “slacker”. Brittany Franks, a gorgeous girl with a fiery spirit, becomes an enemy of Donny when she gets into a horrible fight with him. Donny wins HOH. In a shocking turn of events, he nominates Tommy Wilder and Ashley Carmichael.
Amanda Peak wins POV and is expected to save Tommy from nominations. But when Brittany speaks to her, the two connect on a personal level. Amanda decides to not use the POV, severing her once wonderful showmance with Tommy. The house votes out Tommy Wilder, who they all view as the biggest threat of the house. He leaves crying in his hands.
