13 post frookies Nov 26, 2011
Watching a 13 post frookies as an observer is kind of like watching paint dry but at the end, it is interesting to see all of the votes 1 after another.

Happy Thanksgiving Nov 25, 2011
I hope everyone had a chance to spend time with their family and friends and reflect on both the challenges and opportunities of this last year.  Happy Thanksgiving and good luck to those of you taking part in major shopping on Friday.

Battle of the Comedians: Round 1 - John Stewart vs. Stephen Colbert Nov 19, 2011
The battle of comedy central hosts.

John Stewart:  Best known for the Daily Show that pokes fun at politicians throughout the year, especially during any election (indecision 2008, etc.).  He has a self deprecating sense of humor and no one is off limits. He has expanded to host award shows.  He loves crossword puzzles (according to a documentary on them) and once had a short lived talk show on Fox where he said on his final show "To those of you that said the show wouldn't last.....good call"

Stephen Colbert:  Best known as the faux right wing talk show host of the Colbert Report.  He gets into battles with Bill O'Reilly. He started off in improv, then the Daily Show and then his own show. He has a cult like following. He also tried to get himself on the ballot in the last election in South Carolina.

Please choose your favorite.

Battle of the Comedians: Round 1 - Jerry Seinfeld vs. Ray Ramano Nov 16, 2011
Please indicate your favored comedian. Tonight is the battle of the guys with shows named after themselves.

Jerry Seinfeld - Observational comedy. Had the top rated sitcom in the 1990s. Only been in a few movies.  Also producer for the Marriage Ref.

Ray Ramano -  Known for Everyone Loves Raymond. Has that "everyman" type humor. Been in at least one movie (believe it was called Moosehead).
