Does mental illness run in your family?

If so, which ones? My mom’s family on her mother’s side seems to have the depression/anxiety gene which I have unfortunately inherited. 😔

yeah i have 1 (well 2, anxiety as well) but i have a pretty serious mental condition that another family member of mine has, and pretty sure other family members have had. not sure if it's possible for me to inherit, but i have irl friends that know of my account and don't want them to know at the moment
