"We're out here on the island of Jamaica, where 15 newbies and 3 returnees get a chance at 1 million dollars! Our three returnees think that they have what it takes to get back out here and win it this time! They will lead a tribe with 5 other newbies!"
All three tribes are seen standing on their respective mats, with the exception of the returnees.
"Welcome to Survivor: Jamaica!"
The newbies cheered.
"But, there is a slight twist. We are bringing back three returnees from season 1 who wanted a second chance!"
CONFESSIONAL: Harry
"When I heard that there would be three returnees, I was kind of disappointed. They definitely will have an advantage over us, and I will make sure that whoever is on my tribe doesn't make it very far."
"For the Mata Mata tribe, we have Alvard!"
CONFESSIONAL: Alvard
"Last time, I was really wishy washy. I had a shot at the finals, but I blew it with last minute scheming. This time I need to stay loyal to an alliance, because last time I wasn't and it screwed me."
"For the Kontol tribe, we have Sai!"
CONFESSIONAL: Sai
"Last time I was a social threat. I plan on playing a relatively similar game, but this time I will have to see who I can trust."
"And last but not least, for Zakar, we have Max!"
CONFESSIONAL: Max
"In season 1, I never made any big moves. I plan on changing that this time, expect a bigger, badder player."
"Here are your maps. Head back to camp, I'll see you in a few days for the immunity challenge."
MATA MATA CAMP
Joey and Brenna hit it off early, worrying the other tribemates.
CONFESSIONAL: Jax
"Everyone definitely noticed Brenna flirting with Joey, big time. I think that she is trying to play him, and I think that it's working."
CONFESSIONAL: Brenna
"So, Joey thinks I'm cute. Whatever, he's cute, and if it can help me in this game, then he can stare and flirt all he wants, but in the end, only one can win."
"Hey dude." Cal says to Jax.
"What's going on?"
"I get good vibes from you, and that dumb guy and that hot girl are working together, so it only makes sense that we work together as well."
"I agree 100%." Jax tells him.
Alvard approaches Ryan.
"Hey, do you want to work together? Because I think that everyone else is, so it only makes sense for us."
"Yeah I guess. As long as you stay loyal, and you don't flip flop."
CONFESSIONAL: Alvard
"So, I approach Ryan about an alliance. And he kind of said yes? But he also called me out on being flip floppy, so clearly he has seen last season. I don't know that he trusts me fully, so I don't think that I can trust him fully."
KONTOL CAMP
Sai quickly approaches Christian.
"Hey, Christian, is it? I get good vibes from you, and I think that we should work together, it benefits both of us."
"Yeah, I agree. Our tribe could use a guy like you, you know, who has played before."
Harry is talking to Justin.
"I don't know about Sai. He seems like an untrustworthy guy."
"Well, last season he played a pretty honest game, I think." Justin says.
"Yeah, but last season is last season. This season is this season, and I think he has to go soon or he'll win this thing."
CONFESSIONAL: Justin
"So, Harry is getting all strategic already. Like, can you just shut up and build the shelter? He is definitely a sketchy dude, and I think if we go to tribal council sometime soon, he is gonna have to go."
Blaze talks to CM.
"Hey bud, what do you think of an alliance? Your strengths are my weaknesses and my weaknesses are your strengths."
"Oh yeah, sure."
CONFESSIONAL: Blaze
"I was talking to CM. He's an awkward kid, but he seems like a good ally to have. His haircut and fashion sense could use some work though."
CONFESSIONAL: CM
"I was talking to uh, Blaze. He's a real flamboyant fella, but he seems like he is a pretty cool guy. I hope he doesn't get a crush on me or anything."
ZAKAR CAMP
Right away, Max put himself into the leadership position.
Nick and Oliver break away quickly.
"These people are magnificent. They look like they'll kick ass in challenges, which is why we have to stick together." Nick tells Oliver.
"Agreed."
Meanwhile, back at camp the four others are talking.
"I hate to say it, but those guys are just not as athletic or useful to the tribe. If we go to tribal council, it has to be them." Zach says to the rest of the group.
"Yes, I agree. I like them fine, but they aren't exactly useful to our tribe right now." Max says.
The four then agree on a majority alliance.
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
Mata Mata took first place, and it was down to Kontol and Zakar. In the end, Zakar won and sent Kontol to tribal council.
KONTOL CAMP
CONFESSIONAL: Sai
"Why do I always have to get stuck on the shitty tribe? Maybe it's me, maybe I'm just the shitty one."
Justin walks up to Sai.
"Just wanted to let you know that Harry has been talking smack about you. I think he wants you out."
"Well we can't have that, can we?" Sai says. "I'll see what I can do about that. Thank you for letting me know."
CONFESSIONAL: Sai
"So, apparently Harry has been running my name through the dirt. This seems like a good time to hunt for an idol."
Sai and Christian go out looking for an idol.
"I think Sai is out searching for an idol." Harry says to the rest of the group. "Kind of suspicious, isn't it? Doesn't seem like a tribe leader to me."
"Why don't we all just go look for the idol?" CM suggests to the three others.
"Sounds good to me. Better than someone untrustworthy having it." Blaze agrees.
Everyone goes off to search for the idol, and Sai finds it.
CONFESSIONAL: Sai
"I'm already winning this game. Honestly, call me Boston Rob because these noobs are going to get stepped on. Harry first."
Blaze and CM are talking.
"So... it seems like Sai and Harry are after eachother." CM says to Blaze.
"Definitely. One of them is the one going. Who should it be?"
"Well, Sai seems like he knows the game better. And that is threatening, but on the other hand, it will help our tribe out for now."
"It's definitely something to think about." Blaze says.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
"Welcome to tribal council. Behind each of you is a torch go ahead and grab it, dip it in and get fire. In this game, fire represents life. Once your flame is out, so are you. CM, what was it like losing the first challenge?"
"Well... it kind of sucked. No one wants to be the first person voted out."
"But someone will be. Who thinks that they could go tonight?"
No one raises their hand.
"Wow, nobody? Blaze, how can you be so sure?"
"Well, I think that the vote is really in between two people, and I'm surprised neither of them raised their hand."
"Who are those two people?"
"Me. And Harry." Sai says.
"Why is that?"
"Harry came after me, and now I'm coming after him." Sai says.
"Who do you think you are, dude? You aren't some kind of mastermind, you got voted out twice last time you played." Harry lashes back.
"Yeah? We'll just see who goes tonight, I guess."
"Yeah, I guess we will. The results may shock you." Harry says.
"Should we just vote?" Jeff asks.
"Yeah, before these ladies start a catfight." Justin says.
Everyone votes, and Jeff returns with the urn.
"If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so."
