If they ever do this twist again, here's two pairs I'd love to see:
Silas Gaither vs. Aaron Reisberger: Two returnees who both started on a season with 16 contestants with yellow and red tribes, both were switched at F12, with both of them being voted off in 12th place with yellow tribes, and both games screwed over because of it.
Jeff Varner vs. Marcus Lehman: Two strong males who left due to unfortunate twists: Varner because of past votes tiebreaker, and Marcus due to the 2nd and seemingly unfair tribe switch.
Which pair should definitely be used in case this twist is used again?
I mean, he fits all the clues. Now I know Kelsey Grammer said he wouldn't, but at the time he said it, he added at least "not to my knowledge", which also likely means its SB.
Also, if the episode really DOES have something to do with Krusty, maybe Sideshow Bob somehow gets involved with attempting to kill Krusty, he might likely realize te error of his ways for some reason, and as a final act of good deed, saves Krusty, which can be a good emotional through line, that the producers say it will be.
Plus, the producers said the way te character dies will be funny, and most fans assume it's Krusty's dad Rabbi Krustofski, but I can't imagine him dying in a funny way, so maybe SB saves Krusty from something like a giant rake or a cannon or something.
Also, the prouducers added to the voice actor supposedly "this does not mean the end of your participation in The Simpsons", and if this run out to be true, SB would be more shocking than Rabbi Krustofski.
Either way, Sideshow Bob isn't technically iconic, and he has been a bit stale lately, so in my mind, he's the likely one to leave The Simpsons for good.
