You all brought a lot of unique songs to the table this round. There were only two songs that I had heard before, so I was excited to hear a lot of new songs. There wasn’t much love for fall or winter, but even those of you that chose the same seasons had some different interpretations which was great to see. Here are the comments.

I love Christmas music, and this is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I almost exclusively listen to Christmas music during December and listen to this song specifically at least once every couple of days. It’s kind of a problem. TLDR: I love this song.
FromAWindow: Audrey Tell Me - Juice
This is my kind of song. Smooth bass, funky guitar, disco drum beat - I’m a fan. My guess is summer for your favorite season.
GrrrImABear: Froot - Marina and the Diamonds
I love how groovy the track is...but I hate her voice. It was such an interesting experience listening to this because I was bopping the head the entire time while simultaneously wishing it would end. I heard that bass open the song and wanted to love this song, but I just couldn’t get into it.
ILoveLarry: April - Beach Bunny
Spring is also my favorite season, and I definitely get springtime vibes. This song feels very laid back but still has some flavor to it. The ending was a bit unexpected, and there were spots where I couldn’t really hear the singer over the band. But overall, this was a fun song that I’ll probably come back to in the spring.
Rubes: Watermelon Sugar - Harry Styles
This is definitely a summer song. The beat was cool, but I wasn’t a big fan of the repetitive course. It’s a nice song, but it’s not a summer jam I’d put on my list.
Becksta20: Four Seasons in One Day - Crowded House
My guess is fall for your favorite season. This song’s tone makes me think of someone getting ready for the incoming winter. I liked how mellow the song was overall and did enjoy being introduced to the song.
NewNightmare7: Summertime Sadness - Lana Del Rey
I think this song definitely encapsulates summer 2020. I’ve never been a fan of Lana’s sound, and this song sadly doesn’t change that opinion. This song was just kind of boring and didn’t make me feel much of anything.
Cheritaisdelicious: June on the West Coast - Bright Eyes
Cherries are a summer fruit, so it makes sense summer would be your favorite season. He was playing the mess out of that guitar which I did enjoy. My issue is that he was in this weird place where he wasn’t quite singing but not quite talking, and that kind of ruined the song for me.
Zach3051: Here Comes the Sun - Jacob Collier
Dynamic, strange, musically interesting, and kind of annoying. This song was all of these things rolled into a nice, adorable package. It definitely put a smile on my face and made me think of springtime. I loved all the different sounds and instruments that made up the song.
Ouijake: Summertime Clothes - Animal Collective
This song reminds me of some of my college acid trips. Like an acid trip, this song was definitely a wild ride. I’m honestly still trying to understand everything that was going on in the song, but it definitely brought back some summer memories.
