Summerslam 2003 World heavyweight championship match
HHH(c) retained against Goldberg, Hbk, Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash and Randy Orton.
This was only the 2nd ever chamber match which honestly prob hurt it's rating because it didn't even come close to the first one. This match was really rushed like it only lasted 19minutes which is crazy for this kind of match. They tried to Hype nash up so much when he entered but he was eliminated quick and basically irrelevant besides attacking everyone after the match. HHH got superkicked before exiting pod and laid inside for whole match basically. There were no dives off cage which is disappointing but they did use the chains a lot least Nash even made Jericho bleed. Goldberg entered and destroyed everyone with spears and jackhammers. They really built him up to look unstoppable eliminating all 3 quickly and then kicking HHH ass. Having Flair slide HHH a sledgehammer to hit Goldberg was their way of trying to book it as ok for him to lose but they really should have just had Goldberg win and his WWE career would have started and probably went much better.
Length. 19mins.
Best moment: Goldberg spearing Jericho through pod was pretty good also. Flair holding door shut with his feet to protect HHH in the pod and Goldberg kicking the glass in.
Best performer: Definitely Goldberg. Hbk and Jericho were pretty disappointing and didn't do anything big like they did in the first chamber and this was before Goldberg was past his prime and he does have the best looking spear in the business.
Sounds like a good 6, its too bad this was only the 2nd EC match. I'm sure if it was later in EC history there would have been more work with the ring itself. Speaking of Goldberg, I'm interested to see WHO"S NEXT for him since Roman Reigns dropped out of Mania
ticofernandez this is my thoughts about it: Give Goldberg a good fight from someone who's not already scheduled at Mania (Seamus, Braun Strowman, etc.) either keep the belt with Goldberg, or let Roman win it from one of them eventually.
