Currently in my first new casting and first game ever on tengaged, I find myself in emerged in an amiable but tense final 7. Even after playing the game just once, these are my comments on the new casting gameplay:
1) I'd like to bring up something that a few other bloggers have posted, from the little I've read in my first day-- that only lower level players should be able to play the new casting. I think this is valid but not necessary. A few of the stronger, more experienced players were targeted early for having apparently "pre-made" alliances, which obviously scared all of the less experienced players (myself included). Just like in Survivor All Star seasons, the champions do not necessarily have an edge--near the beginning, especially, it can be tough for them to break in. To me, the system seems fair as it is.
2) My main problem is that one person can derail the game, though. Everything was moving rapidly until one player unexpectedly left from his computer in the middle of a vote, which killed the chances for a one night game despite the readiness of everyone else in the game. Can this be prevented somehow?
Overall, loving everything so far.
