So there are a lot of people who liked the old castings. The one where posts affected the amount of help you got in games? And then there are those times just before you're about to be away from your computer for only a couple days, but you have 3 days until then and you can't join any games because you would get booted too fast. It wouldn't be worthwhile. What if we brought back the old castings with 10 people and 10 minute rounds.
A game would take about 7 game days or one hour and ten minutes RL. Obviously the prizes wouldn't necessarily be as big, and you'd still have to be able to be on for an hour (Yeah, you could play the last comp and leave anyway, so only an hour.) Possibly a good idea? Maybe needs some tweaking? What do you think?
So I get home from Prom, right? And I look at my Rookies and I`m like HOLY CRAP I JUST WON MY FIRST ROOKIES about 18 hrs ago. Then I look at my Karma and I`m like. HOLY CRAP I CAN BUY GREEN!
And on top of that... even though I missed a full round... i`m stll in my Survivor and we won the challenge. I`m a pretty happy person now.

(This uses way to many words to say something really simple. I got bored halfway through it and had to take a break from reading it. It doesn't take into account it's audience at all so it doesn't get it's point across very well. I get the point, but it doesn't feel like a strong argument because it doesn't feel like the blog is talking to anyone in particular.)
Now that that's out of the way, the problem with adding enough health that it may last until the first nomination is the fact that those inactives are going to make it onto the block. This leaves a couple possible situations. One is that 1 or 2 of the noms are inactive. If this is the case, the active noms are in a lot of trouble. They're a LOT more likely to get voted out just to pick off more than one player. Thats kind of unfair because the players who die after an elimination get the higher place.
The second situation is that all the players on the block are inactive. That one just sucks. We may as well be playing Day one all over again. Just playing a competition to see who gets nommed day two. This would feel like the game hasn't actually started again. I already waited 12 hrs for the game to start, I don't want to wait an extra 12 hours just because of some stupid inactives.
Theres a simple solution to keep yourself from dieing in a game. A castings, from the first sign up to the last, takes about 2 hours. If its 10:00 and the only castings is half full and you have to go to bed soon... DON'T JOIN A FUCKING CASTINGS! Stop WHINING and figure out that if you have to be on for a game, you shouldn't sign up for it until you can be active for a little bit! Castings games start up all the time. One started now... one will start again in a couple hours. It's not the end of the world if you wait until tomorrow to start a game.
