Today you will be playing as individuals in “Off to the Races” so I hope you’re feeling lucky today! To start off each player will have $3. Your goal by the end of this challenge is to be in the top 3 players with the most accumulated currency. There will be 6 rounds/opportunities to earn money.
There are a couple different ways you can earn money in this challenge. Each round I will post a task and it will be up to you if you want to participate in that task or not. If multiple people participate in one task the individual who wins that task will have their currency doubled. If one person participates they have to complete the task in order to double their currency. If you do not win the round, your currency will not increase or decrease.
There is however another opportunity to earn money and that is through BETTING. If you choose to sit out a task you are given the opportunity to bet on the round. You will bet on the player you believe is going to win the task and if you are correct at the end the amount you had bet will be doubled. If you bet on a person and they LOSE then you will lose the money you have bet.
You can choose not to play a task or bet if you please. You will not be told what the task is beforehand. You’ll have two minutes to decide each round if you want to play, bet, or sit out. The top 3 players with the most accumulated currency at the end of 6 rounds will earn their safety. Everyone else will be at risk to be voted into elimination. If there is a tie for the third spot we'll go to a tiebreaker round.
