You know what I’m SICK and TIRED of in this day and age? All of the FLOP music that appears on our radio-stations today. We need to do something about it!
So ladies, your challenge is to present yourselves as NEW musical icons that stand out from the crowd. You need to come up with a stage name, a concept for your debut single, and any visuals that you think will lead you towards a win… but you won’t be doing this alone.
You will be competing in this challenge as TEAMS. The top two from last week, 11:11 and Maui Wowwy, will be choosing their partners for this challenge. 11:11 has chosen Ahn Jinhee, and Maui Wowwy has chosen Untitled. That means the rest of you, Flan, Avieyonne Flieux, and Eva Lution, will be performing as a trio.
And to celebrate the New Year, your runway theme this week is: New Year, New Me! We want you to walk down the runway in something you wouldn’t normally wear. Maybe it’s a different hairstyle or a brand new face. Try something different, and above all, be daring!
The top two queens this week will be lip-syncing to ‘Centipede’ by Rebbie Jackson.
This challenge will be due on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 11:59pm EST. You may ask for an extension if necessary, but they will not always be granted. Again, feel free to update your list if you wish, otherwise I will use your list from the previous week.
Gentlemen, start your engines… and may the best woman win!
Flan, Avieyonne Flieux, and Eva Lution have requested an extension and it has been granted. The challenge will be due on Sunday, January 8th, 2017 11:59pm EST.
However, I am SICK and TIRED of giving out these extensions. This is the FINAL extension of the season.
The Dixie Hicks are an American country music band. The band is composed of founding members (and sisters) Eva Lution and Flan, and lead singer Avieyonne Flieux. The band formed in 1998 in on a private compound in Great Bend, Kansas and was originally composed of Three men performing. After the transition of one bandmate, the replacement the other two followed. They have recently released their first commercial single "Inbred Baby" (2017) detailing their experiences growing up on a compound.
For my new me, I went with a less extreme makeup style, my actual real life skin tone, and afropunk(???) stylings. As you can tell, I was really pushed off the ledge this round :-)
