Welcome to your 8th Mission, Red Baron.
In this mission each of you will take place as shooters aiming at 1 of the 150 targets on the board. Each of you assigned different point values from 10 to 50 to 5 of the 150 targets.
Here is how it will work.
When a round starts, ALL PLAYERS AVAILABLE will have 3 minutes to mail me which target they are shooting at. If multiple players shoot at the same target, whoever mailed me 1st gets the credit for it.
Scoring works as follows:
--If an empty target is shot, no points are eanred.
--If a target contains a point value from a member of the opposite team, then whoever shot it will gain that number of points for their individual score. IN ADDITION, whoever's point value was shot, will have that number of points DEDUCTED from their individual score.
--If a target contains a point value from a member of your own team, then whoever shot it will earn HALF the total number of points assigned to it for their individual score. IN ADDITION, whoever's point value was shot, that player will have that number of points DEDUCTED from their individual score.
--If a target contains a point value from the person who shot it, then they earn no points and that point value will be DEDUCTED from their individual score.
If a target has multiple point values from different people then all totals will be taken into account.
In addition, under 5 empty targets are dilemmas where you can either gain or lose points based on penalties or rewards accepted.
NOTE: It is possible to have NEGATIVE points. In this case, those points will be SUBTRACTED from the team total.
At the end of the mission, each individual score will be combined and the team with the higher point total will win the mission.
There is a catch. You can join the mission if you show up late. But, after you send your 1st target and start playing, any round following in which you do not shoot a target, you will lose 5 points.
There is also an INDIVIDUAL REWARD up for grabs. The individuals from each team (1 per team) who has the highest individual scores will earn something valuable: information. They will earn 2 pieces of information. The 1st is they will learn the number of secret pairs remaining in the game. The 2nd they can choose to learn how many rookie-rookie, veteran-veteran or rookie-veteran secret pairs remain in the game.
