Welcome to your Fortress, Ball and Chain.
In this challenge there is a 8x8 grid of 64 posts as shown below which can be divided into 49 squares with a square having 4 posts (1 per corner):
X A B C D E G H I
1 X X X X X X X X
2 X X X X X X X X
3 X X X X X X X X
4 X X X X X X X X
5 X X X X X X X X
6 X X X X X X X X
7 X X X X X X X X
8 X X X X X X X X
You will alternate taking turns during this game. On a player's turn they will take a chain and connect two posts (X's that are either right next to each other [left and right] or on top of each other [top and bottom]). If you are the one who closes a square (posts the 4th wall) then you place a ball within that square claiming it as your own.
The twist is that if on your turn you close a square and claim it then you get to make another move immediately, leaving it possible to claim multiple squares in a turn.
When all squares are claimed, the pair that has the most squares will win the Final KEY CARD to Phase 4 and a spot in the Top 6 while the loser will be eliminated.
On a turn post your move such as:
A2 - B2
This means a chain will be placed between those 2 squares and it will look like this
X---X
On each turn a player will have only TWO MINUTES to post a move. This means that if at any point your posted move and my post saying it is your turn is 3 minutes or more apart AT ALL TIMES it counts as a missed move. If they do not, then their turn is skipped. BUT, if someone misses THREE TURNS, they are OUT of the challenge and will have no more turns. But, any squares they did claim will remain in their possession.
If on your move you claim a square and know you have to make another move, you can post both moves in the same post (with up to 3 moves at a time being posted.)
