The Ark was the best solution, the only solution, and now it's slowly failing. Well maybe not all that slowly. For the past 97 years the last surviving humans have resided on the artificial, habitable satellite, known as "The Ark", but its resources are dwindling fast.

          After Nuclear War showered the earth in massive amounts of radiation, The Ark came into play. The Ark is actually 12 different space stations combined over the course of  3 generations. Since the combination the population has rose to over 2000. With so many people the oxygen reserves are draining. So with nowhere else to go, the higher-ups on The Ark have decided to turn back to Earth.

          On The Ark, any adult over 18 who commits a crime is "floated" out into space as an execution, but inhabitants under 18 are imprisoned and await their 18th birthday, where they are either freed or floated.

          The council on The Ark voted on a decision to send 100 of the imprisoned teens down to Earth to see if it could be reinhabited, and it passed. These 100 teens have no idea what they're in for, whether it be instantaneous death from radiation, or slow painful deaths by creatures that could be lurking down on the third rock from the sun.
