My life changed last February when I was at the tuba convention because of a man named Bart. When I first met Bart I choked on a pepper in the cafeteria and he rushed over to save me. We ended up talking all night and went to the bar “Crazy Suzettes”. He ordered me one of their signature drinks, Pina Cholata, which is a mixture of pineapple, rum and chocolate. It was nasty but Bart loved it so I pretended I like it too. I was so nervous I even knocked over a salt shaker. The bar tender, Edgar, licked the salt off the table. Bart introduced me to his roommate Toni on Sunday and the three of us became best friends from that day forward.
