The woods are dark and looming. A crescent moon sits above as two figures meet between the trees.
Jenny: Did you speak to Blaise?
Victoria (nodding): Just a few hours ago. He’s down. His parents are still on their cruise, poor kid.
Jenny (shrugging): Hey, if it gives us access to Red Grave Manor...
Victoria (leans in): What exactly are you getting out of this?
Jenny: Don’t worry about it. Besides, we all might get a little something out of it. Technically, Red Grave is out of city limits.
Victoria (smiling): I haven’t forgotten.
Jenny: Guess I’ll see you there.
Victoria: Blaise said guests can arrive around 5:30 - spread the word.
Jenny nods and both girls turn away and make their way home. A howl bursts through the night.
August 15, 2017, Noon:
The Circle Witches are meeting in the basement of Kyle Scott’s home.
Emmaleigh: Oh my god, yes! A fucking party - I love it. I’m there.
Jenny: Well no shit, Shirley. We have plans, remember?
Kyle makes a circular motion with his hand.
Lilly: So, where exactly are we doing it? Isn’t everybody and their dog going to be there?
Jenny: In a basement just like this one. Red Grave’s got to have one.
Kyle: Besides, that’s the point. We need everybody there; the more energy, the better.
Lilly (nodding): Right, right.
Emmaleigh: Okay, but THEN we can go out and join the party, right?
Jenny (looking directly at her): Sweetie, that’s when the real party begins..
August 15, 2017, 1:00 p.m.:
A mass text is sent out by Blaise Crestwood to the students, even the newbies, at Parkers Grove High informing them about the party at Red Grave Manor.
August 15, 2017, 5:00 p.m., Now:
A party will be held at Red Grave Manor in 30 minutes. For now, just have your characters be hanging around town or at their homes. Unless you are new to the school, everybody knows everybody.
Tonight: A party at Red Grave Manor.
Tomorrow: First day of school, a school-sanctioned free skate night at the Roller Dome.
