Hello, my name is Steven Brown

This is my most loved poem done by one Alan Seeger in 1914 before being deported to fight in WW1. I have a lust for the world to come after mine, I want to see the the beauty in death. There is a will inside all that releases and and comes to a realization, that we are still okay after death, in fact in some cases better.

This is a much more personal info page then you have seen on this website. I advise that u take time to see the emotion this poem brings you.I have for many years now already.

I HAVE a rendezvous with Death
At some disputed barricade,
When Spring comes back with rustling shade
And apple-blossoms fill the air—
I have a rendezvous with Death 5
When Spring brings back blue days and fair.

It may be he shall take my hand
And lead me into his dark land
And close my eyes and quench my breath—
It may be I shall pass him still. 10
I have a rendezvous with Death
On some scarred slope of battered hill,
When Spring comes round again this year
And the first meadow-flowers appear.

God knows 'twere better to be deep 15
Pillowed in silk and scented down,
Where love throbs out in blissful sleep,
Pulse nigh to pulse, and breath to breath,
Where hushed awakenings are dear...
But I've a rendezvous with Death 20
At midnight in some flaming town,
When Spring trips north again this year,
And I to my pledged word am true,
I shall not fail that rendezvous.

It is safe to say that the Angel in the poem is there to ease the soul, the transition that Seeger once went through many years ago. In some way, he lived through this poem to tell us what really happens when you die.

This poem brings me many feelings, sadness is amongst them. Pride is yet another in which many will feel after the touch of honor that is best-ode upon them. Pride in your country and pride in yourself.

I am Steven Brown, a young man that fills himself with pride, honor and justice.
I will strive to change the lives of others, and for my biggest achievement, to save a life.

A great ally, but a more powerful advisory.
A great friend, but a more brutal enemy.
Lay down your weapon upon my arrival, for you will not need it till you pick it back up.
