The mastermind behind all of this torture is none other than Michelin Star Chef Gordon Ramsay, who pushes his chefs harder than any other chef has in order to extract the best out of them. The chefs are then taken to a very fancy looking restaurant in a luxurious LA shopping center with the name โLa Repas Roseโ in gold cursive font. (The name was chosen by Season 4 winner Tester).
The chefs enter the restaurant to find Chef Ramsay standing in the center of the dining room.

The first chef to present their signature dish is Bart, a German sous chef, with his elevated take on Pretzel Bites.
โช๏ธ Chef Ramsay: When you said pretzel bites, I initially didnโt think I was gonna like this dish. However, it surprisingly tastes like a gourmet dish. Youโve managed to elevate a classic comfort food into something fantastic. Itโs a very strong 4. Well done.
First up on the womenโs team, hoping to leave a good first impression, is Savannah, a sous chef, with her Steak and Mushrooms.
โช๏ธ Chef Ramsay: The steak is cooked perfectly. However, it look like an absolute mess. Your presentation needs a LOT of work, so itโs a 3 out of 5.

With the men ahead by one point, Archie, a local diner owner, looks to extend his teamโs lead with his Curry Risotto.
โช๏ธ Chef Ramsay: First of all, I can see visually that it looks more like a soup than a risotto. Then, when I actually taste it, thereโs no seasoning in there AND itโs undercooked. You had a great concept for a dish and fucked it up completely. 1 out of 5.
With Archieโs failure, the women hope that Julie, a sous chef, can take this opportunity to close in on the men with her Chicken Fried Steak.

After Tristenโs flawless dish, Lexie, a food truck owner, is hoping that she can follow up with her Chicken Breast.

And more importantly, will any chef produce a pizza dish bad enough to send them home before the first dinner service even begins?
