Red Avatar Nose? Jun 4, 2009
imageUm, can anyone tell me if this is "special"? And, if so, what does it mean? I have seen in some Games/Groups people saying negative things about, and pointing it out like it was a bad thing......Even some group owners wont let you play their game if you have a "red nose"?

So, What's at the Fuss about?

In Regards to REVENUE to the Design Maker! 
I think it's extremely INSANE for all designes that are Auctioned off and have a high bid....that the only profit they make is the STARTING BIG (per Design Labs Help page)
Note: I am aware of the indirect indication as you become an more established seller and make more items that are auctioned, the starting bid increases thereforth you the Design Maker gets more T$ revenue.
BUT THIS IS MY PROBELM AND ESPECIALLY WITH SOME SELLER'S INTIAL FIRST DESIGN THAT GO TO AUCTION(!!) IS THIS:
Why should an Designer make a kick butt Avatar Item to only make (on Average 5T$) in their initial Auction sells? I would rather if I created some very good like this, I would rather it not sell at all, me keep the item, and not earn the measily 5 T$
My Suggestion is that, the Item Designer makes the final sale price, or a perecntage of, or the final sale minus a fixed predetermined fee (like sellter fees on Ebay) for Tengaged's conveniue and clear out some of the Tengaged T$ Cash flow/inflation.
CONCLUSION: I THINK IT IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR FOR ANY ITEM DESIGNER TO MAKE A MEASILY 5 OR SO T$ IN THEIR FIRST INITAL AUCTIONS REGARDLESS OF HOW GOOD THE ITEM IS ESPECIALLY WHEN SOME TIMES ARE SUPER TIMES BETTER THAN OTHERS AND MORE QUALITY WORK/ORIGINAL.....
I THINK THE ITEM DESIGNER SHOULD GET REWARDED BASED ON HOW WELL THE ITEM SELLS, PERIOD!!
Keep in mind, as more and more items are introduced/auction become available, ORIGINALITY will greatly deminished and LESS QUALITY ITEMS WILL ENTER THE AUCTION MARKET IF USERS ARE NOT GETTING WELL REWARDED FOR THEIR ARTWORK TIME/QUALITY OF WORK!!

imageIm am getting extremely tired of all these NO WORK/NO ART SKILLS/NO EFFORT googled images used as avatars by save picture off web (that's not your work), choose basic tshirt base (already provided done for you), CLICK UPLOAD (how hard is that?) and BAM BAM...

TIME TO START THE MARKETING CAMPAIGN SO ALL THE ACUTALLY QUALITY ARTWORK/SUBMITED DESIGNS DONT SELL/GET REJECTED!!

Please Remove this NONENSE and VERY LACKADASICAL OF NONE QUALITY DESIGN ARTWORK by using the Simple T-Shirt Upload Method!!

Avatar Design Labs Help: Regarding SETTING BACK GROUND TO TRANSPARENT May 29, 2009
iN Paint.net, which is alot more tricky than Photoshop in setting Background Image to Transparent!

See Solution Below:

I had to search good earlier myself.......SEARCH GOOGLE FOR "PAINT.NET SET BACKGROUND TRANSPARENCY" There is a blog I used as a guide that helped. Basicly by default the Transparency on the toolbar is set to (50%) by default in paint.net. you have to change it to 0% in the toolbar up above OR double click "layer properties" in the Layers Panel and you can then Reduce that setting to 0% instead and it works just the same!!
Hope that helps!!

Note: only works on PNG files, GIF files are not supported yet for Paint.net.

New Avatar Items DESIGN LABS possible flaws!!!!!!! (Venting) May 29, 2009
I have created some very good items and I feel even though I'm getting great feedback for them, they will be removed in 3 days (unless I resubmit them later), and never get bought/used because SO MANY SUBMISSIONS ARE HAPPENING SO FAST, AUCTIONS STARTING SO SLOW(ONE AT A TIME) AND NONSENSE POPULARITY VOTING AND RATING OF EVERY ITEM, WHETHER IT' GOOD OR NOT!!
