I got the job!!!!! Mar 5, 2010

Lot's of you have mailed me this week to see if I got it and up until today I wasn't sure, but I'm in!!! Words cant express how excited and happy I am right now!! It's like my dream to do something like this!!

Believe it or not, When I was in high school, I was one of the most intelligent in my year, And my teachers all advised me not to go into hairdressing, It's a dead end job, it's easy, only for people with no qualifications, blah blah blah! My family and friends didn't support my career choice either, saying I was wasting my brains.

Well.... I sure showed them!! I've now got a position with one of the biggest hair companys in the world! I need to pinch myself.

It just shows that if your passionate about something and have the determination, you can be whatever you want to be!

Thanx to everyone who wished me good luck, and those that asked how it went etc after... the 2 days were SO amazing!! :)

They have both worked SO hard and got so close to the semi finals.. They deserve semi finals, especially Elisa who no one had heard of, but listen to her songs, shes amazing

A few weeks ago I applied to be part of the Paul Mitchell Art Team for the UK ( Paul Mitchell is a worldwide Hair product company )
Tomorrow I'm going down to London for a two day Accreditation which means I will be sitting 3 exams and also giving a presentation on a hair cut and colour that I've created (blog pic) Eeeeek!! lol.. the colour on that dolls head, Is a star shape.. coloured blue :P BlueStar

I'm so so scared but I know if I get in, It's going to be AMAZING!!

How many designers on here (who actually can design) Bid 500t$ each week, and patiently wait while the clock ticks down refreshing the page to see there shop didnt open.

Yet we are faced each week with over priced designs which that person didnt even make.... fucked up or what?

Blue-Tique is gonna make a comeback!! <3

ps... I feel sorry for the designers who dont get enough credit (or profit) from giving there designs away.. Braga get your own shop mate, you'd make a fortune!
