Today's Question: Who is your favorite video game couple?
My Answer: Sonia & Gundham from Danganronpa 2
Now, I'm still not fully certain if these two are canonically a couple in the Danganronpa world or just love interests, but I don't care as I love these two the most, and if it wasn't for one of them dying during the game, pretty sure they would have ended up if a couple if they weren't already one. It just always warmed my heart seeing Sonia & Gundham interact with one another from my playthrough of Danganronpa 2, and I do wish they could have both stuck together in the world to live happily ever after.
I guess I'm dipping back into the Persona well today but godDAMN can you blame me? Kanji and Naoto are literally perfect for eachother.
Kanji Tatsumi, the #edgy biker gang leader with a sensitive side who may or may not be gay depending how you want to interpret his dungeon/Shadow. Naoto Shirogane, the girl who goes out of her way to pretend to be a man for her line of work, because women in the police force aren't as respected in Japan, especially younger women. There's a reason this is pretty much the only ship in the entire franchise that the fanbase as a whole accepts as canon, let these 2 LGBT icons have eachother.
