Hunger Games Game Idea!

Apr 22, 2012 by Celebinator
It is long, but there are a lot of details you have to pay attention to, so get over it~~~~~~~~~~~

*DISCLAIMER* -Some of these ideas are not original! I remember seeing some of these things from other blogs but do not actually remember who said them. If you think I stole something from an original post you made, I probably did. So if you want me to credit you with an idea that is on here that you came up with link me to your blog and I will credit you.

-THE REAPING:
This part is pretty simple, well kind of simple. Randomize will make a new tab for all things Hunger Games related. Each person gets one entry for their color level (1 for white, 2 for yellow, 3 for orange, etc.). First of all you have to choose to enter, so that way inactive people or people who don’t want to play do not have to enter. I know what you are thinking “God damn it I will never get in with 3 entries!” well do not worry you will get extra chances! You can buy more entries with T$, the first extra entry will be 10T$, the next 20, the next 30, and all the way up to 100 T$ (that way T$ buyers do not get to like overload their name in. Now I know what you are thinking again “God Damn it I spent 100T$ on extra entries and I still did not get in!” each extra entry will roll over until you get in (then you are reset back to your color level entries) so when you choose to enter the Reaping again you will have 14 entries if you are a silver level who bought 3 extra entries the week before and did not get in.

The reaping will take place at 4:00 pm (est) AFTER the last Hunger Games has ended (the Hunger Games can last any amount of time) I feel like that might be a good enrollment time for a high majority of Tengaged (or at least I hope). At 4 p.m. the next day the 24 Tengagers will show up on the Hunger Games tab that have been randomly selected and you will be enrolled 24 hours after that.

Also before you may enter the reaping, you must choose a mentor. Obviously you would want it to be someone you can trust, and will be active on Tengaged to help you throughout the games. I will explain more about how your mentor will help you and sponsors and what not.

-Sponsors
On the Hunger Games tab each Tengager will have the chance to give T$ to help their favorite contestant. Mentors are the only ones who will be able to buy you supplies. All supplies that can be bought will be food and water to help your health (health will be explained later).

Okay so what’s in it for the mentor you might ask? The mentor of the winning tribute will receive 1000T$! That seems like a big prize, but there is a reason for it. Mentors are going to have to bust their ass to get you sponsors if people are not already willing to give you T$ already. Gift giveaways, joining charity games, and all that suck up shit. So you might also want to consider getting someone likeable as your mentor. (mentors cannot directly use their own T$ to help their tribute)

Anyways once you're mentor sends you something you will receive a tengaged mail that will let you know that a new item is in your supplies.

Also the price of each item will be based on how much they will help you throughout the game. Items that give you more health will be worth more.  Some health items might be able to be used more than once (will be explained later) so that will cause them to be more expensive as well, and as the games go one the prices for items will continuously increase.

-THE GAMES:

--DUELING:
The game is going to have to be mostly challenge based for it to even be possible on Tengaged. Basically here is how it works. When you move into a new area (movements and all that shit will be fully explained later)you will see all the other players in that area and you will have the option to either duel them or message them (perhaps the perfect chance to start an alliance). Not going to fully explain this now but there are ways for you to get advantages, escape, and choose the challenge. Your health will determine how much time you have for your challenge

So you and the person duel: One wins, one loses, but don’t worry losing is not certain death. If you manage to complete the challenge within a close margin of the other person that wins you will get to keep a small amount of health which may leave you as easy pickings for the next person, but not dead. Say the challenge is Endurance, if you finish within at least 100 points of your opponent but still lose then you get away with 5% of the health you had when you started the duel. This can be applied to the other challenges as well: within 100 points in words, 50 points in maze, 5k in deal, 3k in WOF, 2500 in match, 30 in snowflakes, and guitar could be like 250 points or something so people with high health do not just use guitar to kill everyone easily.

--MOVEMENT
The game page will have no chat box (if someone is in the same area as you, you have the option to message them) so the only things that will show up on your screen is: Your location, your supplies, your health, and hide, sleep, and “move now” tabs.
You will have the chance to move to a new area 3 times every 6 hours, so use them wisely. There will be a map of the area and you will be able to move to any new area that is touching the one you are at.

Now for hiding, hiding takes 30 minutes to do, so if anyone moves in on you during that time they will be able to attack you, but if they don’t, that means you decide if you want to attack anyone that moves into your area

Sleeping: Sleeping will be a huge advantage if you can remain safe for 6 hours, because you will gain 10% more health, but it leaves you at a huge disadvantage also, and this will be explained when I get into items.

--Health/Supplies
You all start with 100% health, which means full challenge times. After each 6 hour period you will lose 5% of your health. Your health can be recovered by eating, drinking, or sleeping. When you move into your new area you may have the option to hunt an animal or collect water if the supplies are there. You also receive food and water from your mentor through sponsors. Now certain items are worth more health: berries at 5%, apples at 6%, rabbit 10%, Turkey 25%, and a lot of other items in between. Water will give you 5%.

Now as I said before, some food items might be able to be used more than once. Say you only want 5% health, but you only have a rabbit. Larger items like rabbits and Turkeys will have serving sizes, so you can take a small fraction of the item, like 5%. This can also be done for water and berries, you can take those in small increments of 1%.

Now time to talk about one of the most important parts: weapons. Weapons can be found at the cornucopia or randomly dispersed around the game area, but can only be used once. Each item has a specific power number: starting at 1 (say like a stick) and increasing until there are no weapons left like 15 (a sword or battle axe or something). When you duel someone, or are challenged by someone you must draw your strongest weapon, the holder of the strongest weapon gets the chance to choose the challenge.

Okay now there are other items: Defense items. These also have power numbers. Like say a bark shield would be 1 and battle armor would be 15. When someone decides to duel you, you have the chance to use your strongest defense item. If your defense item beats their weapon then you will escape their attack and they will not be able to attack you for the rest of the current 6 hour movement period. But if your item isn’t strong enough to stop their weapon, you still get a small plus. The weapon user may get to choose the challenge, but your defense item will give you a 5% increase in time for the duel.

As for what I said about sleeping, if you are caught and attacked while you are sleeping, then you will not have the option to use a weapon or a defense item.
