As we're approaching Mother's Day tomorrow, my mom just finished her last major surgery on Tuesday. Doctor's said it was definitely in the top 10 for hardest procedures they've undergone, but she's doing well and recovering steadily.
Just got cleared from the hospital last night, sounding like things are on the up and up. She'll still have some trouble walking or running errands, and thankfully I live close enough I can keep an eye on those things. But hopefully this will be the last of my most recent hardships.
