imageY'all, I think Randomize meant for us to not know every one of the phrases, places, events, etc...

Hence it being a CHALLENGE.

But people living in the USA could have unfair advantages in the challenges.

Not necessarily, there are also international cities and places too.
I don't even know most of the US cities.
I think they are meant to be sparse.

British people, Australian people and everyone else don't know many US place names, whereas American people do. :/

kirby:  read my post above
Most of the US cities aren't the larger ones, so they aren't well known to even Americans.

Also - they aren't all US cities.
This has been well documented in JJJJ's blog.

Sorry, I posted that at the same time you posted the one above me. I didnt see it.

And if that is the case, why are there British holidays on there?
That gives the UK member's an unfair advantage since US, Austrian, etc.. players aren't familiar with them.

Anyone can complain about a certain aspect of the game not being 'fair'.  Everyone is not meant to know everything in the challenge.

To be honest, I can't see why people complain about never having heard the phrase/city etc. Surely that's your own fault?

I kinda agree, Emma.

I didn't know what Red Letter Day was, but I wasn't complaining about it....
