I've been away for a couple months and so I'm just learning all of the in's and out's of the new Castings and Rookies formats. One thing I've noticed is that the new format is far too fast paced as compared to the old format that had the feeling of being too slow. To be honest, I prefer the old format better, but I'm sure there are others who are loving the faster pace of the new style.
Another difference I've found is that the old format allowed time to actually get to know people and make friends. In the new format, the game is over before you can even learn anyone's name.
I think a great way to satisfy everyone would be to allow anyone who has won a Rookies or Castings game to be allowed to play with other past winners in a "Champions League" form of Rookies or Castings.
For those who are accomplished players and want to play a faster paced game can play with the current style and those who are new to the game or looking for a more relaxed style of game play can play using the old format. What do you think?
