Kanto Pokemon Ranking #150-146

150. Persian

The Pokemon I have in the next to last spot is none other than the evolved form of Meowth.  For me personally, Persian is just so bland.  I’m sure other people like it, but to me, it’s just a boring Pokemon, especially for something that evolved from that talking cat Jesse and James from Team Rocket carry around with them.

149. Koffing

So according to somebody who commented on the last blog, it was KOFFING who we had to face when going up against Roxie.  Eh, doesn’t matter.  Koffing was still gonna be 149th place regardless because he is just as uninteresting and forgettable as its evolution Weezing.  The only thing better pretty much is that Koffing actually doesn’t look so gloomy all the time.  #Oopsies

148. Exeggcute

I’m no fan of Exeggcute either.  All it is pretty much is 6 sentient eggs with a few of them looking as if they look minutes away from being scrambled into our breakfast plates.  It just feels so uninspired that I can’t justify NOT giving it a low placement.  Furthermore, the Pokedex can’t seem to decide what this Pokemon is even supposed to be: eggs, seeds, or something else?  Like, WHICH IS IT?  Anyway, next!

147. Magneton

Yet another uninteresting Pokemon to knock off very early.  Just like Exeggcute is made up of 6 eggs, this thing is basically 3 Magnemites glued together.  The logic of this Pokemon is also off since the weight should be 3x the weight of a Magnemite, NOT 10x!  Jesus Christ, GameFreak!  Get yo shit together!

146. Raticate

I could have put Rattata at this spot, but no.  I will explain further when Rattata’s rank is revealed, but as for this evolution, I don’t like it.  At all.  They only really get used if you want to give it an HM or if you are doing a Nuzlocke of the Kanto or Johto games.  It actually ranks pretty low for me compared to other evolutions of those regional rat or whatever Pokemon.  So in short, no thanks!

Persian = One of the slickest Pokémon in the anime.
Koffing = Adorable pollution!
Eggsecute = Meh, I get it.
Magneton = Fun in Pokémon Snap. XD
Raticate = Genuinely one of my teammates when I played Crystal. :'(
