Now, without further ado, let’s continue on with the assessment!
Macda27 - (Kate Anderson - Nature Female) – EPISODE 12 DESCENDANTS – Kate really hasn’t had much of a presence after the last time I left off for the Descendants. Rather, Kate was captured and that was pretty much it. There really isn’t much to say, but I would hope she can be freed soon. I have a feeling she won’t though.
Mac Anderson (One Killer Version) – As this incarnation of Mac has not been introduced yet, he will not be assessed here. However, since the story takes place in “Fleetwood” Hills, how many Fleetwood Mac jokes do you think will come his way? :P RyanAndrews - (Samuel Weeks - Air Male) – EPISODE 1 DESCENDANTS – I’ve gotta say that if there is anyone NOT in the Ferris Institute I feel bad for, it’s Samuel. He’s lost John, and this hurts him the most of course. But I gotta say that he’s handled it pretty well so far, so I give him props for sticking out for himself when he is on his own. By the way, the end of Episode 16 reminds me of the ending scene from the movie Chronicle where a final video log was made in Tibet. I’m not gonna spoil the movie by the way, so if you wanna know who I am talking about, go watch the movie.
(Ariel Moore - Energy Female) – EPISODE 12 DESCENDANTS – I still can’t really say much about Ariel, simply because I still don’t really know her other than always being with Anthony. I hope that she will do something for herself. Otherwise, she will just be death fodder. KaseyHope101 - ("Ruthie" Margaritiana - Human) – EPISODE 12 DESCENDANTS – Episode 16 has shown me that Ruthie can be sneaky when she has to be, but I still say compared to the other villains, she’s one of the weaker ones. She’s still gun-happy and crazy as hell. I sometimes swear that she’s half-human, half-dog.
Nessa Belle - EPISODE 13 ONE KILLER – So I re-read that Season 2 premiere and forgot all about Nessa at first. SHE was the one eating Sasha’s nuts without anyone’s go-ahead. Sure, I will admit that Serena did the same thing with Chasty’s chocolates, but Serena has been developed WAY more so far than Nessa. I will give Nessa a chance though and see if she grows into something here because everyone deserves at least one shot. tkoj555 - (Wendy Mayweather - Shadow Female) – EPISODE 11 DESCENDANTS – That last episode actually gave me a lot more respect for Wendy. She’s a Shadow Descendant who can summon demons, and even when she could have put her life in danger, she chose to stick by her best friend, who is a Holy (I really feel dirty when I call someone other than the Holy Trinity that lol) Descendant. I am hoping this yin yang friendship will grow throughout their time here.
Proxie Barclay – EPISODE 15 ONE KILLER – So I think from early impressions that THIS guy I think will be this season’s Burt. He basically was only there in Episode 15 when Sasha came to him worried that her friends would die, so that does raise a red flag with for me. He’s got the potential to have some real mystery behind him, so we’ll just have to wait and see with him. hints - (Mia Myan - Holy Female) – EPISODE 11 DESCENDANTS – I still don’t know too much about Mia, BUT I do a slight approval of her so far. She doesn’t really seem to be stupid, and I respect her decision at the meeting with Mac, so I hope she follows through with not telling Crimson and does not turn out to be a total cop out. Fell6 - (Violet Summer - Magic Female) – EPISODE 12 DESCENDANTS – For what I thought was a main, Violet really has been disappointing. All she’s done was whine about seeing Jenni and her powers at the college and she’s just been flat out annoying. If she gets more screen time, I do hope she can show a more mature side to her. CoolKat - (Veronica Chester - Human) – EPISODE 13 DESCENDANTS – Veronica is a stripper turned member of the Justice Syndcate, and honestly, everything about her just makes me roll my eyes. While I am glad she is a player in the story, I can’t say I really care for her and won’t care if she gets offed in these final 3 episodes. Topazisqueen - (Brittany Rose - Poison Female) – EPISODE 11 DESCENDANTS – She HAS improved ever since she lost her phone, but that doesn’t really say much when I loathed her character at the beginning. She isn’t afraid to get into fights, but I still feel like she is one of those typical try-hards that really irks my gut. She needs another side to her that I can relate to if I’m going to actually like her, but at least she isn’t as unlikable as she was when she came into the storyline. JourdanBabyXoXo - (Adore Laison - Fire Female) – EPISODE 11 DESCENDANTS – My opinion of Adore has really improved since the beginning of the season. I used to despise her, but now, I’m beginning to see where she is coming from. As such, she has begun to grow on me a little. But I’m still not sure where I stand with her, so I’m hoping we’ll something more about who Adore really is. Rawr121 - (Anthony Kuryente - Magic Male) – EPISODE 12 DESCENDANTS – I can’t really say with Anthony. Props to him for getting him and Ariel out of harm’s way when that fire happened, but other than that, I just don’t really know him that well either. Jkjkjk15 - (Jayla Helix - Human) – EPISODE 12 DESCENDANTS – Like Veronica, she is another person who works for the Justice Syndicate and another one that makes me just roll my eyes whenever I see the Justice Syndicate. Her only real differences to Veronica are that she isn’t a stripper and she had an encounter with Jenni back in Episode 12. Abnormal - (Gabriel Montez - Magic Male) – EPISODE 12 DESCENDANTS – I still don’t really care much for Gabriel, but I do like that he isn’t afraid to speak his mind. We saw that profoundly in Episode 16 when he yelled at Violet to shut up. But right afterwards, he goes and gets himself captured, and that’s not smart in the slightest. Will this cost him his life though? Or is in the same boat as Kate? We will see soon enough, I think. KatarinaDuCouteau - Arya Crane – EPISODE 14 ONE KILLER – I’m gonna be honest, the only times I’ve ever heard someone be named “Arya” was when I was either reading about Arya Stark in A Song of Ice And Fire OR in the Inheritance Cycle (if you know about Eragon, you know what I’m talking about) with Arya the elf. THIS Arya (who I will be calling Arya 3 for the sake of this assessment) hasn’t gotten much in the way of screen time, but she seems to be nice. It is suspicious that she would leave for 40 minutes to go and get her headphones, but then again, I don’t really know Arya 3 that well, so maybe she is just that forgetful. We’ll just wait and see. But like Chasty, Arya 3 will have big shoes to fill because of Andrea from last season. Snowflake3 - Avery Li – EPISODE 15 ONE KILLER – The only thing I’ve really gotten to see as far as Avery goes is that she works at the spa. We’re only 3 episodes in and THIS is all we see of her? I feel like either she will be important later on OR she will just be death fodder. PoohSnap - Beck Wyndell – EPISODE 13 ONE KILLER – This is the replacement to Adam, which is strange since Adam didn’t even die, just arrested. Anyway, like Avery, he’s really only had a small scene. It was with Elizabeth, Rebecah, and Tallulah though, so MAYBE he might be more of a character? It’s hard to tell at this point. MrPokeGuy9 - Kyle Jackson – EPISODE 14 ONE KILLER – I’ve only seen this guy for one episode and already I don’t like him, but really only because him throwing Jake under the bus to Chasty led Jake to his demise. I don’t see him becoming an Alex or Adam, but maybe a Burt (kind of like what I said about Proxie) or likelier a more devious Oli. MrBird - Matthew Patterz – EPISODE 15 ONE KILLER – I’m just gonna say this now, Melanie didn’t really need to be dragged out into Season 2 considering how much of a non-presence she was last season. That being said, he seems more likable than his sister was and I think he might have a better chance at developing. Who knows though? Aydanmac01 - Nikole Qoltress – EPISODE 14 ONE KILLER – Nikole comes into the scene and just SNOOPS through Sydney’s stuff! Talk about making a cutthroat entrance! I feel like Nikole will be one of those types who stumbles upon a dark secret and ends up paying dearly for it though. There really is no other way I can assess this or her right now. Kelly2722 - Samantha Matthews - EPISODE 13 ONE KILLER – So I might have been a little harsh on Samantha a few episodes back. I’m not sorry for calling her naïve, and I still think she is, but I did misread and think she went for Sasha’s nuts (turned out to be Nessa), so Sam is actually more mature than I first thought. She still isn’t a favorite of mine by any stretch, but she’s fine for now. I hope she doesn’t have the steep decline her sister had. Brayden_ - Troy Barnes - EPISODE 13 ONE KILLER – So far, all I know about this guy is that he trying to get with Chasty. My suspicion with him though is that HE could be this season’s Adam, who ends up going pervy and borderline rapist, this time towards Chasty. We’ll see though.
And that will be it for the characters. I also have a One Killer theory to share as well as a clue to the Descendant I am thinking of for Season 3 of the Descendants AND there will be an interactive session for Arlene and Serena.
First, the theory:
Back when I was answering the questions for Episode 13 of One Killer, I stated that there was a heartbreaking theory I had that I wasn’t ready to share. I was saving that theory for this assessment, and it is about Rebecah and Tallulah.
Now, in the beginning of Season 2, Rebecah and Tallulah were shown to be living together as a lesbian couple. I am so happy for them and I’m glad that Tallulah has found someone better to live with. But despite that trouble in paradise we saw last episode, I have a theory that would permanently separate them. I think one of Rebecah and Tallulah will get killed this season, and when one of them dies, the other will react in a manner that they will want revenge for the death of their loved one. It could even result in BOTH of their deaths. The reason I say this is because when I saw their first appearance this season and how they were living on love together, I thought to myself “This isn’t gonna last”, and I think this will be how that happens.
Next, the clue. I did say my new character was going to be related to Arlene and be an Energy Descendant. Well, he is going to be the long-lost twin brother of Arlene and be named Carlisle. That is all I will be revealing about him for the time being.
And last, but certainly not least, here is where you can interact with these assessments. Back in the end of One Killer’s first season, I handed out awards for certain superlatives. Now, with me being Arlene for the Descendants and Serena for One Killer, this begs the question of what awards should these 2 characters be eligible for once the season finale hits? That wraps up this mega assessment. I only did this combined assessments because both stories were due for assessments at the same time. With One Killer just beginning its 2nd season and Descendants getting ready for another season finale in which should be explosive, I will be seeing you back in the normal-sized assessments when those happen.
