With the middle of Season 3 finished, we had what was arguably the best episode of the series with Choice as it was so dynamic, I was surprised such an amazing episode could have been fit into one episode.  We also saw some spooky shit right after, and forgiveness becomes a bigger key than ever before.  Before we fall to the ground in tears because we're just getting a family member back after losing them as a kid though, let's say a heartfelt goodbye to those we actually did lose in these last 4 episodes.

In Memorium:

imprincearthur - (Bobby Mott - Shadow Male) - EPISODE 12 - EPISODE 24 - Cause of Death: Killed by Esdeath with a knife slit to his throat   I was shocked to see him this early on in Season 3, but I'm kind of glad he did go, not because I didn't like him, but he was just too obvious a villain to be interesting as a main baddie anymore.  His appearance as a ghost to Edward finally made me like him more because it shown me that beyond his menacing personality, he was still Edward's brother.
Lynette - (Natalya Hernandez - Fire Female) - EPISODE 1 - EPISODE 25 - Cause of death: Shot in the head from Esdeath's water bolt after having her legs frozen  I knew Natalya's time was coming this season as her time was borrowed since the end of Season 1, but at the same time, it was sad seeing her go.  I actually did like Natalya underneath the disappointment I had towards her because she was a vocal person with emotion.  I'm glad she went against Esdeath in the end because it showed she was capable of intelligent thought and not just another Mott follower.  May you rest in peace, Natalya!
Jkjkjk15 - (Jayla Helix - Human) - EPISODE 12 - EPISODE 26 - Cause of death: Eyes explode due to Ivy's mind poisoning  Yet another robbery with her death because, just like Natalya, Jayla was going to turn herself around and then she gets killed off.  I admit, she hasn't been mature, but I would have liked to see her turn around.

Final Words: "Esdeath... She might not be a Shadow Descendant, but she's a bigger shadow than those who are."

Now, as always, time to start assessing the living people with my characters.

(Arlene Giles - Shadow Female) - EPISODE 12 - After reading "Forgive Me" and "Choice", we're finally starting to get an identity for Arlene, and I am glad for this.  The reunion scene in "Choice" in particular was not only one of Season 3's most emotional moments, but it opens up a new door for Arlene.  I would be the same as she was if I had just gotten one family member back after losing them all as a child.  I do hope that she can make the transition, and then her Season 4 storline can be how she adjusts to this new lifestyle if she is still alive when we get into Season 4.  In short, while I alread liked Arlene enough in Season 2, she has reall gotten her first big chance to shine in this season and it's great that she's getting this.
(Carlisle Giles - Energy Male) - EPISODE 21 - Despite him getting "introduced" in Episode 24, it was obvious he was the one stalking Chandler, so reall, Episode 27, this past episode, is the onl episode in Season 3 so far Carlisle HASN'T been in.  That introduction in Sins of My Past was the most badass scene Descendants has had so far, and this isn't even bias speaking.  I genuinely can't find another scene in this series that embodies badass more than his introduction.  Also, I am glad to see him spend time with Arlene.  He is who she needs, and I hope to see these 2 siblings get to bond more as this season goes on if they are both still alive at the end of this season.

And onto the rest:

imprincearthur - (Edward Mott - Shadow Male) - EPISODE 1 - So he finally got himself out of the basement.  (sarcastically) Woohoo!  And the first thing he does is to make an attempt at making a move on Tisha!

GURL, DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT SHE ISN'T INTO YOU ANYMORE!?  Like, you've been after her life numerous times, and you just expect that she will have sex with you?  Laugh your heart out, Hans Landa, because I'm laughing too!  That being said, I am glad Edward is finally doing something about himself, though I think it will be short-lived.  I've already theorized that he was going to die, and I that has not changed in the slightest.  I think his visit in "Those We Couldn't See" set up his death, just like I think a certain circumstance has set up Mac's demise, which I will get into once I get to him.
hints - (Tisha Mai - Water Female) - EPISODE 1 - So judging by me bashing on Tisha in more recent episodes, you might think I have come to hate Tisha.  Here's the thing though.  I actually still like Tisha as a character.  It's just that she's the only one who has been in every episode, a distinction she's had ever since "The Green Inside Her", and she just seems a bit too untouchable for my tastes.  With some characters, I need a Jon Snow-like scene to happen to them where, going out of the episode, their fate hangs in the balance, and I feel like in order for Tisha to completely round out her character, she's gotta one of the people who goes through a Jon Snow or Glenn Rhee.
(Ivy Lange - Poison Female) - EPISODE 22 - So this is basically just the right-hand man (woman?)  to Esdeath.  Nothing too interesting from a personality standpoint, really.  In a skill standpoint though, she shows us a new extent of her power when she killed Jayla by poisoning her mind until her eyes exploded, causing a blind hemorrhage.  That is fearsome!
tkoj555 - (Quinton Benjamin - Water Male) - EPISODE 1 - YAS!  He FINALLY got exposed!  Granted, he wasn't  there because that would have been much more iconic to for him to BE audience to Crimson exposing him to Tisha, but now Quinton has nothing left he can hide behind.  He hasn't been in the last 3 episodes, but at the beginning of Episode 24 when I saw his flashback, I just reall began to loathe Quinton, so unless something changes for Quinton, don't be surprised if he wins the Award for Least Favorite Character at the end of the season.
(Wendy Mayweather - Shadow Female) - EPISODE 11 - So she attempted to commit suicide in "Choice".  But here's the thing: I get why she wanted to end her life!  She couldn't move on without Mia.  I agree with Brittany that it was a stupid decision, but I can't fault Wendy at all.  To see her be visited by the ghost of Mia was something she so desperately needed, and now that she knows what she needs to do, she can finally move on and tackle on what makes Wendy Wendy.
ForYouSelena - (Sabrina Del Rosa - Holy Female) - EPISODE 1 - So I am going to do something unorthodox here and place Sabrina a little bit earlier, but I feel she needs to be assessed in this spot.  I get that Sabrina died in the Season 2 finale and has been brought back to life, but that's not the problem.  All season, she has been on a steep decline and is the frontrunner for Biggest Fall From Grace because her envy towards Alexis is not only offputting, it is unbefitting of someone who is SUPPOSED to be a HOLY Descendant!  I hope she can find some redemption so that I can find another person to give that Award to, but all the same, Sabrina is in dire need of a redemption arc, just like Crimson was coming into this season.
Macda27 - (Mac Anderson - Nature Male) - EPISODE 1 - Just like Sabrina, he has been declining this season, but his decline is not quite so bad.  His teaching of Alexis though is gonna bite him in the butt, and we're already seeing this.  But I do think his death is coming in these last 3 episodes because I think it's being set up for him to get killed off at the hands of Alexis.  If Alexis is with Esdeath, that means Mac has only been teaching her so that she could be the one who betrays him and takes his life, with Sabrina bearing witness.
(Kate Anderson - Nature Female) - EPISODE 12 - As immature as I've taken her to be, I actually prefer her to Mac now.  She's gonna have an interesting having to explain who she is to Evan when that time comes up.  But I like that she is with Evan instead of spending time in Mac's shadow.  If Mac does get killed off, it will actually give Kate an opportunity to rise into her own.
Fell6 (Jenni Valentine - Energy Female) - EPISODE 1 - Jenni is finall beginning to realize that peace might not be an attainable goal, so I think what needs to be worked on for Jenni is for her to find some kind of balance.  Jenni has the support she needs and she's an awesome character, not to mention that she's better at the whole "All Life is Precious" zen-mode mantra than Morgan from The Walking Dead is despite Jenni NOT being in a Zombie Apocalypse.  I just think that once Jenni sees that conflict will always be there, a new arc will open for her in which she finds a balance between humanity and brutality.
(Violet Summer - Magic Female) - EPISODE 12 - I'm gonna be honest.  Violet hasn't changed at all since the last assessment, so unless she has some kind of interesting change that makes her unique or she dies, there is really no point in assessing her.
Coolkat - (Chandler Park - Poison Female) - EPISODE 1 - When I said that we needed to be reminded that no one was safe before this season began, it was good to see Chandler's fate hang in the balance, as morbid as that might sound.  It showed me that no one is safe, and it would have been devastating to lose Chandler because she's just so awesome!  She's also a great voice of reason, as she demonstrated with Mac in this previous episode.
IceIceBaby - (Crimson Wilson - Fire Female) - EPISODE 2 - Crimson has might quite the improvement this season.  She went from being a shell of her former Season 1 at the end of Season 2 to someone who is more redeemed.  Getting Mada as her visitor and then telling Tisha what actually happened with Jenni's drugging was HUGE for Crimson.  But who did Quinton threaten to expose Crimson AS?  This will be the next arc I feel Crimson will end up walking.  So while I did put Crimson down as a possible death, I don't think this is too likely and I think she still has some story left to go.
RyanAndrews - (Samuel Weeks - Air Male) - EPISODE 1 - If Sabrina doesn't end up with Biggest Fall From Grace at the end of this season, it will almost certainly be him.  He's been given Crimson's Season 2 story arc with his determination to avenge John, which I think is the stupidest thing for him to do now that person who killed John is just as dead as him.  Samuel I used to relate to, but now he's just gone so bad that I wonder if he will become a villain out of vengeance and spite, just like Arlene's trajectory is currently leading her into the good side.
_Ivyyy_445 - (Bailey Jaxxon - Human) - EPISODE 1 - Ugh!  Why did she have to be captured by Esdeath?  She's had her time in Season 1, so I felt like she could lasted at least another season or two before again becoming a damsel-in-distress.  But it's all cool.  She hasn't improved much since Season 2, but I am hoping she is still alive at the end of the season, even though I think she could be offed by Esdeath as a hostage killing.
Topazisqueen - (Evelyn Shields - Air Female) - EPISODE 5 - Well, she got what was coming to her.  I'm surprised it took this long.  She has worked behind Tisha's back for so long that to have gone an further without punishment wouldn't have been just.  But I think this spells doom for Evelyn, either from Esdeath or Tisha.  At the same time, Evelyn also has my sympathy because she has had a greivous plight.  But now her time is borrowed just like Natalya's was and I don't think she has another direction to go anymore.
(Brittany Rose - Poison Female) - EPISODE 11 - It's hard not to agree with her points when it comes to Wendy, but at the same time, she does need a taste of her medicine.  SLAP HER IN THE FACE WENDY!  I do think Brittany is caring, but at the same time, she's also not the best at displaying it, so she does need to be taught a few lessons more as well.
JourdanBabyXoXo - (Adore Laison - Fire Female) - EPISODE 11 - Basically, she's Violet except it's Brittany's shadow she is in instead of Jenni's AND let's not forget that Brittany isn't even that big of a character to begin with.  That's all I have to say about Adore.
KaseyHope101 - ("Ruthie" Margaritiana - Human) - EPISODE 12 - She hasn't quite done much as of late, so not much has changed in regards to her, but she needs to find a way out of Esdeath's shadow.  If not, I think she is being set up to die in the next big battle.
Rawr121 - (Anthony Kuryente - Magic Male) - EPISODE 12 - Is he dead?  It almost looks like it after Samuel put some Kharine on him.  He's basically that victim who finds out the villain's plot and then gets caught finding out, much like this scene from The Incredibles:

I'd hate to see him die, but I think that's what the Kharine did to him.  :/
Abnormal - (Gabriel Montez - Magic Male) - EPISODE 12 - For the first time, I can see where his intention lies.  However, he is still very background and is a filler character at this point.  I hope he finds his friend though and STOPS being careless.
KatarinaDuCouteau - (Esdeath R.L. Quinn - Water Female) - EPISODE 22 - I'm glad she took over as the main villain of Season 3 instead of the Motts being the big baddies for the 3rd season in a row.  She's come off with a big bang, killing Bobby and Natalya and then capturing Bailey once Jayla was killed and taken out of the way.  I think one of 2 things will happen: she will either be an overlapping villain going into Season 4 OR she is killed off this season.  I would like to know what her origins are though.
QueenMichelle - (Alexis Ahore - Shadow Female) - EPISODE 21 - Alexis is, in a nutshell, this season's Violet.  So far, as a Main, she has disappointed me.  I do think she is working for Esdeath in some fashion, and honestly, I would hope this is the case because it helps make her distinction as a Main make sense.  She's just kind of in the background and not getting a whole lot of development.
Katherinee_ - (Katherine Montgomery - Shadow Female) - EPISODE 21 - We didn't get to see a whole lot of Katherine those last few episodes, but Choice did show that Katherine isn't just a sick face.  She is actually planning for something bigger.  Do I think she is "a queen" though?  Well... not really.  This is because I still have not much of a clue of who she even is.  I think, in a sense, she is being set up to be a major villain for Season 4.
Turkeylover - (Angel Devon - Holy Female) - EPISODE 22 - I actually though she and Gabe were gonna be romantically involved, but now I think Angel is just there to give life to Gabriel's empty plot.  Honestly, she's forgettable and I wouldn't be sad to see her get killed off.  She's death fodder anyway at this point.
Aerodynamics - (Evan Decker - Human) - EPISODE 21 - Well he did what I thought he was gonna do right off the bat: hook up with Kate.  I had them shipped from Moment 1.  Like I said earlier, I hope he doesn't mind Kate being a Descendant because he's actually been fun to watch thus far.  Honestly, I think Evan could take the direction of going into the Justice Syndicate rather than be someone to work for Esdeath and I would be fine with that happening with Evan.  I just hope he doesn't die yet.
Kelly2722 - (Tori Michaels - Shadow Female) - EPISODE 23 - Well that came out of nowhere!  She is Mada's grandchild.  Wonder how that happened!  It sure makes her an interesting character now, but other than that, she is still a Shadow Descendant, which at this point has become the Descendants equivalent to Fire/Fighting Starters in Pokemon.

And that's all the characters.  With the season finale coming, it's time to think about Awards.  I've thought about this, and I think to keep as little bias in as possible, I'm going to let you have a hand in who gets what Award.  Then when I give out the Awards, I will reveal my choice for the Award recipient as well as the audience choice for the Award recipients.  I will allow nominations until the season finale closes so that all episodes can be considered.  Here is the list of Awards used last season below:

Omg you are reading my mind about Katherine! I thought that too .. I mean she is created for this, I MADE HER to be a main villain and I am glad that the author is creating her story of gaining her power.

Best Episode – Episode 5! Very emotional and jam-packed episode, though I'm sure one of the next 3 episodes are likely going to win this award!
Favorite Moment – Carlisle's Introduction/Reveal
Most Insane Moment – Jayla's Death
Favorite Character Overall – * Chandler and Crimson
Favorite Newcomer – * Carlisle and Evan
Least Favorite Character – I don't really have any least favorites but I think I'm going with Edward.
Most Shocking Twist – Quinton being revealed as the culprit to drugging Jenni instead of Crimson
Most Shocking Death – Natalya's Death
Saddest Death – * There's been some sad ones but I think I'm sticking with Natalya for now.
Saddest Moment – When Wendy attempted suicide
Most Robbed Male – * will answer later
Most Robbed Female – * Natalya (As you can see I really liked her)
Most Improved Character – Crimson and Arlene, their developments have been really good.
Most Wanted to see more of –
Most Redeemed Character (meaning I needed to have warmed up to the character in some way after hating their guts at some point) – Crimson/Natalya/Jayla
Biggest Fall From Grace (means I really liked the character coming into the season, only for them to fall flat on their face throughout the season) – Sabrina
Dumbest Decision – Bailey staying with Jayla as it could actually end up killing her; Quinton drugging Jenni (he did this in S2 but no one knew it was him until now.... if this doesn't count, ignore it)
Best Human – Evan, Ruthie, Bailey, and Jayla (I think this is all of them rofl... there's not much Humans!)

Really nice assessment btw. I am pretty much on the same page with you on every character! I hope Bailey doesn't get offed, but it could drastically change Chandler if she did die.

This is great! I like what you're doing with the awards too! It'll let me know opinions about certain things :)

Yeah Katherinee_  lol  Actually, Katherine's bio wasn't so different from Arlene's when she came into the story, though Arlene was meant to be a Larxene rather than someone who wanted to rule the world when I created her.  lol

Anyway, what are your choices for the Awards I posted?  :P

I also feel like Crimson could still sacrifice herself for the Descendants as now that Tisha has taken her place. She would redeem herself to everybody and her story of who she is could potentially be continued in another way.
Probably not going to happen, but its a theory!!
