Seems like SUCH a huge jump on difficulty, my God!  Now I'm trying to get my party up to 32 just to try the next trial.

I literally breezed through the game

I found it easier than X/Y but I think it's because I genuinely just got way better at Pokemon LOL

everything was pretty good level wise for me up until the elite four. then i had to grind to get up there because they were equal with mine and i wanted to be able to beat them, i keep losing to the champion when they are on their last pokemon with less than half health left like it gets close so gl

Well Maxi1234 adelelover, I thought since my Decidueye was overleveled I could safely give him a break.  I didn't realize that once I got to the 3rd island I'd have to face Hau, so needless to say I was unprepared.  His fucking Raichu took out 4 of my Pokemon.
