Are COVID Rapid Tests Reliable?

I have the symptoms: Fever, Chills, Sore throat and headache but tested negative from the rapid test..... idk is it reliable?

i think rapid tests are actually best if you think you have it rn
it doesn't work as well unless you're presenting symptoms is my understanding but idk for sure

they are somewhat reliable but it's also about the timing cause it takes a couple days after symptoms for it to show up on a rapid test so I'd just stay home

Take a few over a few days! also apparently with new variants it can take awhile to show up positive even if you have symptoms. So I would assume you do have it. My rapid tests showed up positive right away though
